2016 Bricktober Minifigure Sets
2016 Bricktober Minifigure Sets
So a few Euro-Lego resource sites found that Lego has some new Bricktober fig-sets coming out.

The upside is the sets are 'themed':
-Musicians
-Warriors
-Athletes
-Cops and Robbers
My faves are 'Warriors' and 'Cops and Robbers'. The downside is: the sets dropped from 5 to 4 figures. Nothing concrete on price

Why LEGO chose yellow "pants" for the robber on the right, I do not know, because IMO, it looks like the robber is running from the cops without pants
Look, you wake up one day, and your legs, they just give and you just can't run anymore.

It's not yellow, it's 'bright yellow', the yellow used in Chima. The probably wanted orange but didn't have enough useless parts around.captainrex803 wrote:Why LEGO chose yellow "pants" for the robber on the right, I do not know, because IMO, it looks like the robber is running from the cops without pants

I want the warrior one. King crown piece, Musketeer torso, Elf torso, Viking lady dress piece. If the price is right it has some good parts for me.

The rumor is it's free for over $60 or $15-20 on it's own. It's 15 Euro in Germany. I agree the warrior is the best one.StClair wrote:I want the warrior one. King crown piece, Musketeer torso, Elf torso, Viking lady dress piece. If the price is right it has some good parts for me.
I see it being free for over $75 or $20 buy itself.

Free is good! I'm curious how scare and expensive the pieces that I mentioned are on bricklink though. Checking now. Thanks for the info.Brick & Blue wrote:The rumor is it's free for over $60 or $15-20 on it's own. It's 15 Euro in Germany. I agree the warrior is the best one.StClair wrote:I want the warrior one. Whoops, from first glance they looked like the same color as the minifigure headBrick & Blue wrote:It's not yellow, it's 'bright yellow', the yellow used in Chima. ^Nope, be in the USA at TRU in October.
It's all good. I keep pointing that out before we have som odd rumors of what really goes on in LEGO City Police Jails.captainrex803 wrote: Whoops, from first glance they looked like the same color as the minifigure head

To be honest, I am not impressed. I like the different series pieces you can get if you happen to be missing them in you collection, and the female police officer is cool, but these look like a five year old got into the build a mini figure bins in a Lego store. They, for the most part, are horribly mismatched.

Yes! What's with the hippie with an afro? It's like they confused the hair with the disco guy next to it.Candhsmom wrote:To be honest, I am not impressed.
