I just received a fedex shipment notice that says it comes from lego. Excited, says it will be here Friday.

Here is the pics of the Batpod. Also just an FYI, if you are looking at buying one on Ebay be careful of all the sellers who are listing this item as the exclusive but with "no box and no instructions". Turns out they are just building one and selling it as this one!

Got mine last night... Keeping it (after it take a brief road trip...) Interesting how the Postcard mentions 1 in 1000 whereas the contest said 750 available...

My understanding is that 750 were for North America winners, the other 250 were worldwide winners. Think I read that on the Lego site when this promo first came out? Which I'm sure 100 or so were kept for those "emergency" situations and employees

I received my Bat-pod on the 18th Looks great. Packaging was interesting though, box that it was in was a little small length wise and no packing material although because the box was tight on the ends it probably didn't move around much and the interior box is in great condition still no scratches or anything. The shipping box on the outside actually had a sticker that said BAT-POD (white sticker with black lettering). As far as lego boxes go it really does have great graphics all around and is impressive. Still debating selling or keeping
