I really think the reason the lego set not another truck is that so much set up would be involved to convert. Its disappointing but I can rationalize it and say its probably a better choice to have it built as a stationary ride.

Instagram user andrilinardi has posted a clearer image of the upcoming LEGO Creator 10247 Ferris Wheel set. We now know that the set contains 2464 pieces so there's a high chance that the set would be priced above $200 USD. (via Brickfan)

It's not a licensed set...the Parisian Restaurant (10243) is 2469 pieces for $160, so it's possible this set could be closer that price point.

$199.99 not to shabby .081 cents a piece.
