Queen Anne's Revenge Sails VS Imperial Flagship Sails

I was wondering if anyone on this board has both the Imperial Flagship and the Queen Anne's Revenge set and could tell me how the sails compare in terms of size? Are they close to being the same height and width? I don't have either set and am looking to build a custom ship based loosely on the Imperial Flagship's design. The sails for that ship are rather pricey so I was thinking of substituting the Queen Anne's Revenge sails if they fit. Also the reddish sails on the QAR look pretty sharp.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think LEGO sails are more or less the same size. I don't have the Imperial Flagship or Queen Anne's Revenge set but I do have the sails from the QAR. I made a Friends-ship with them. Since you're making a custom ship, you can design the masts around the sails. You also could follow the masts from the QAR build instructions.
