Rumored LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 13 list

Post by JeagerEX » Wed Oct 29, 2014 5:47 pm

I saw someone's post from Eurobricks regarding Series 13, but is that list fake or real below?

1. Thief
2. Army Man
3. Penguin Suit Guy
4. Tour Guide
5. Chimney Sweep
6. Hobo
7. Teacher
8. Ghoul
9. Snake Charmer
10. Doll
11. Confederate Officer
12. Birthday Boy
13. Mailman
14. Bartender
15. Referee
16. Horseback Rider

I saw at brickipedia that someone edited the page then he/she put "According to LEGO". Now it was cleaned up. How LEGO could accept this list, but there's something that LEGO cannot be made.

Number 2, 6, 11, and 14. Those might be controversial or inappropriate. Just keep on eye at any LEGO blogs like The Brick Fan and Groove Bricks.

The names aren't official, so it's just what someone who might have seen the list calls them.

Either way I never found series 12 for $3 so I'll be passing on series 13 too, except for penguin guy.

Now this is the real list.

Galaxy Trooper
Alien Trooper
Evil Wizard
King
Goblin
Lady Cyclops
Snake Charmer
Paleontologist
Carpenter
Hot dog guy
Sheriff
Samurai
Disco Diva
Unicorn girl
Fencer
Egyptian Warrior

However, the Snake Charmer was in the leaked list before.

I'm glad to see some "army builders". Egyptian warrior could be interesting. We've had a samurai before in CMF so I'm curious what this one will consist of. Based upon names alone I think its possible that Galaxy Trooper, Alien Trooper, Goblin, Samurai and Egyptian Warrior may possibly be candidates for army builders of various types.

I loved the Cyclops so a lady Cyclops may be fun. I LOVE middle age figures so I'm hoping evil wizard, king and goblin are well done. Could the goblin use a orc hairpiece with ears? That could be cool... or will it basically be a repaint of the trolls from the fantasy era castle (set 7097 for example). I do love goblins and trolls. Hoping Alien trooper has an interesting head or face. This may be an interesting series after all... I always buy at least 1 animal suit so I'll be picking up a unicorn girl for certain. Can't wait to see the Disco Diva also. I'll calm down now :)

Unless these go on sale I'm passing. But might pick up the unicorn (pic is on brick set) because I'm a fan of those types.

As usual, I'll load up on the Sci-fi ones and skip a lot of the rest. The paleontologist should go nicely with Research Institute. I just picked up a Ser. 12 Wizard last night, so I'll have to get the Evil Wizard to battle him. I think I have two Cyclops', so I'll probably have to get two Lady Cyclops' otherwise they'll fight over her. I'll have to see what the Goblin looks like, but I'll probably get one or two.

And...we have pics (via The Brick Fan & Hoth Bricks, & Lego Club magazine apparently):
Unicorn Girl:

And Snake Charmer:

Oh, Bonus: Display (with a biiig Sheriff):

The list looks ok, and I get the complaints; but this looks to be a strong series; as in I think I want at least one of each, and even multiples in a few.

Which means they are still in the blind bags, but the picture with a Sheriff minifig display are just packaging that look like a "boxes", but they are not actually in boxes. Don't worry guys, its not a strong series.

A lot better than series 12 but I still refuse to buy them at the outrageous $4 price. Hopefully I can get the hot dog guy and the alien head thing for cheap.

The translation of the test in the middle roughly equates to:
Collect and Win! Use the code from the bag to unlock different features In Minifigures Online. With a little luck you could win great prizes!
Here's another image:

The King looks like the Burger King mascot from a few years back. I like that a few of the hats have molded hair like the hardhat with Emmet from CMF-TLM. In fact, the carpenter's helmet might be the same piece, but with orange instead of red.

LOL I was thinking to myself "Why does that King look so familiar? The Burger King! You are SOOOO right. I will be getting multiples of him just for that reason!

Another awesome looking set, so the addiction continues.
