Darn, I was hoping for more high-end realistic looking models. Judging from the pictures, this theme was created with playability in mind, not model accuracy.

They look really cool to me, and the stickers will be awesome for GARC! Some great parts usage, too - particularly the yellow snowboard for the spoiler on the yellow car. And a new sleek windscreen on all of them.

These look nice. I'll pick up a few. Glad they are minifigure scale.

Sorry, what is the anticipated pricing for these sets?

they do look cool albeit a little rough on some of the sets.

I do not collect Lego cars, but these cars look amazing. They are so small and have such great detail and curves. They look like they are a small plastic diecast car and not Lego. :-)

First thing I noticed was the yellow snowboard piece.

Not an F1 fan at all. Hate the look of those cars. It's disappointing that there's yet another Ferrari truck taking up set space from possible inclusions as nice as the non-F1 cars. I'm impressed with the looks of those. The Porsche sets will be going into a little dealership in my tabletown. Aside from the dull Ferrari set it's a nifty line up.

There's new wheel arches if that's what you mean.. These taper off towards the bottom unlike the existing deep ones. Which gives us three types for regular cars now, including the short one which came in with the city forest police sets iirc.

I keep looking at these and marvelling at the way 7 studs wide cars look so slim. This has definitely set the bench mark for minifig scaled cars. If Lego can do these iconic vehicles so well there's no reason to put out boxy monstrosities like the stuff we've been used to in city sets. 4 studs wide just doesn't cut it any more.

The new pieces are welcomes, mainly for window details for me. They look fine, but I often question if mini figure scale racing sets sell because the last few themes can still be found online for really cheap.

But for $15 a car (I'm guessing) it's kind of a cool idea.

Looking at the picture, the cars in the four smaller sets all look to be the same length. I think I like the Porsche the most so far.

Do these have power functions in them - i.e. pull back and they go forward?

Realistic is relative. Some of us started playing with LEGO cars that looked like this:
