If you went to the NingaGo event on Saturday at TRU you got this same sticker. My boys stuck it on the bathroom mirror, makes your eyes the eyes of a Ninja.

Apparently, someone got a free Bonezai spinner. Did they have any NINJAGO for sale?

I got one with my recent order, first thing that came to mind is that they REALLY want to push Ninjago.

They did not have any NINJAGO for sale. The guy running the event said that they had to sign everything in and out, it was very high security/secretive. Our guy didn't even take the Ninja out for people to look at them in the package. There were no free give aways at ours or he didn't do it within the first hour.

Son of a! I did a $55 purchase via lego.com and it did not include the Ninjago decal. I have another order that arrived today, but I haven't seen it's contents to determine if it has a decal or not. What a shame!

Thanks NCbarrett. And now... you can see that it's not just PQ with a bad price per part. I think some of these sets have a worse one...
2111 Kai - 53 cents per part
2112 Cole - 53 cents per part
2113 Zane - 53 cents per part
2114 Chopov - 50 cents per part
2115 Bonezai - 48 cents per part
2116 Krazi - 45 cents per part
2257 Spinjitzu Starter Set - 35 cents per part
2258 Ninja Ambush - 10 cents per part
2259 Skull Motorbike - 10 cents per part
2260 Ice Dragon Attack - 13 cents per part
2263 Turbo Shredder - 13 cents per part
2504 Spinjitzu Dojo - 13 cents per part
2505 Garmadon's Dark Fortress - 14 cents per part
2516 Ninja Training Outpost - 11 cents per part
2518 Nuckal's ATV - 14 cents per part
2519 Skeleton Bowling - 8 cents per part (I suppose that they meant to price it higher, but it's the one great value in this theme)
2520 Ninjago Battle Arena - 11 cents per part
I did round, but in most cases it's not major-often I rounded down. This is one year of expensive themes. While it's not the worst we've seen, it's also not good. Note that the first 6 are the spinners, which I agree with many in saying that they are ripoffs. But I'm definitely getting the bowling for the skeleton parts in tan, plus the Ninjago Battle Arena for weapons and parts.

Egads, the pricing on the single figs. Ick... i hope some of the weapons they have for the single figs come in some of the bigger sets.. i'd rather set collect than get the single figs. Those should be 5 buck figures max.

The weapons do. Try the 50 dollar Spinjitzu Battle Arena-one of the best *ACK* price per parts at 11 cents a part.

The prices are high, but i think they are figuring since it is a "game" people won't mind.
But they are confused I think.

I'm not surprised by any of these. Lego is hoping for a Yu-Gi-Oh/Bakugan type of reaction from kids on these. Looks like the bases are two parts.

Huh. Odd that the smaller sets are the cheaper in terms of $/part.

My youngest brother, who is also a LEGO fan, is 10. He REALLY wants the cards-not the spinners, but he's willing to pay that much money for the cards. I think LEGO has hit something other than the Adult/Teen panic/anger button.

This is true, didn't think of it that way, guess LEGO did.
cards are expensive as a general rule, and since you get a figure and weapons, people will probably have no problem spending $10 on them.

Cards are costly, but only trading cards, which these are not (I think). And even then, a pack only costs 4 dollars. Add 6 for one Minifigure, three weapons, and a spinner? Heck no.

Is or isn't?

The child greed button?

I'm not so sure about that. Magic cards come, what, 15 to the booster pack? And they're about $4.50 a booster, which is $0.30 per card. Using that basis the cards are $1.50 and the rest is $8.49, which is $0.45 per piece.

He is willing to pay that much money for cards. I don't think it's Child Greed, I think it's child OH WOW THAT'S AMAZING button, kind of like Power Rangers, which makes older folk say "That's just cheezy".
