I concur "Good price point" for a licensed set. I think this is a must have, for the AFOL who likes to display sets.

I'm a big Simpsons fan and this looks great. However the minifigs just don't appeal to me at all

I was upset that TLG releases a 2,523 pieces of licensed house but not a 2,523 pieces of LOTR Helm's Deep. How would a house come with more pieces than a battle field!?

One problem I have with the minifigures is the "shifty-eye" look.

What's up with that????!!!!

Talking with a Lego store employee today, and they said they will be getting the Simpsons House next week and they will start selling them early for VIP access before February 1st (they didn't tell me the exact date though). :)

I can't believe there are people out there that will pat $300-400 for a preorder on this on eBay. Why not just order it from the Lego online store. Crazy!!

Lego VIPs have the privilege to part with their $200 first....

Found this in my inbox this morning.

We saw the same thing with the Haunted House , how can you scalp something readily available.

Only thing I can think of is they only have Paypal and No CC to buy from Lego.com

it's wicked cook, and would be a must have for me, save for the price...I can't spend the 200 for something, even as cool as this, if it doesnt' really fit into my current sets..so tempting though
