From what I can tell on the BFAds.net scan, it would appear that this is in-store only--I didn't find it when searching for the 1600 piece set on the website. Perhaps if we're lucky it might get added; it'd be worth the shipping cost to not have to go into a B&M that day! Note also that it's a "while supplies last", but the price is good on Friday as well.

Not only that, but some decent colors as well - it's not just primaries, but some brick yellow (tan), Dark Azure, Orange, Reddish-Brown, etc.

Last year Walmart had a square box that looked half the size of this one...it has 600 pieces and was $15. This is a much better deal. Hope to get one later in the evening, I will still be with family at 6p.m. when the sale starts.

I like that it contains 18 of the round "eye" pieces.

Indeed on both accounts. I hope they have enough and survive the waves of shoppers.
But then again we did not have the Lego Movie hype....

I have to work, and would never go to a Walmart on Black friday but that 1600 piece bucket is amazing deal, the best you will ever find. It's the first time in the USA and it was o\like 50-60 Euro, so it's had off.

The past few years Walmart has had similar tower-type sets of LEGO on-the-cheap for Black Friday. The stores I live around, there's usually a huge pallet full of them by one of the entrances. Good luck to everyone this year looking to get it; I know I am! :)

I managed to pick up last years box during the 30% 8am Friday sale. Think there were a few of both the duplo and Lego boxes left. I hope they repeat the same deal this year, not really looking to shop on Thursday.

My problem is I always look in the aisle of said items genre(lego aisle) but the deals are always elsewhere!

Well, I guess Walmart is a pass from me this year, since they eliminated the 30% off instore sets, which was nice last year, because alot of sets were already discounted.

The 30% sale is still happening this year on Friday, there are just different brands included this year. Lego is not one of them. I would imagine that if they keep this up for the Friday promo they will cycle through a few brands each year.

Yes.

The only things that Walmart will limit are the items that yo have to stand in line for. (TVs, iPad, etc..)

Yes, I had 2 in my cart this morning which was the limit. It wouldn't let me checkout quoting that it couldn't give me a delivery date. I called and they said it was a technical issue. A few minutes ago I tried updating my cart and it said out of stock. It is now back to check your local Walmart but not saying it's out of stock.

I stopped by my Walmart last night (30 minutes away) and they had 18. However, only 9 of those were the Lego pieces the other 9 were the Duplo. Our stores aren't open today and unless they update status online I'm out of luck. Good luck to the rest of you and Happy Thanksgiving.
