Re: LEGO Star Wars 10188 Death Star (2008 Set Retiring Soon)
There have been a couple reports from Lego employees over the last couple days that said they will be getting more shipments of the DS.

Re: Walmart Summer LEGO Clearance 2015
Just to verify, I know the MSRP on some of those sets off the top of my head but not all of them... None of those are the 50% markdown yet right? (that is usually next wave of clearance markdowns after the 30ish % wave)...and the 3rd is the 60-75% markdown. My store has a bunch of stuff still at 30%...

Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases
I finally got my hands on the tatooine mini build from star wars celebrations that my aunt and uncle brought back for me. I offered them money, but they said it was a gift! Nice gift! Either they had a VIP/Medical Badge or camped out overnight to get it...or payed more than retail. Either way. Keep...

Re: how many LEGO Stores have you been to?
I went to the Lego store at downtown disney a few months ago when I went to celebration (which was fantastic). Even though the store was pretty new and well stocked I couldn't force myself to buy anything because of the tax. An extra 9% added on to everything in the store made it seem like a rip off...

Re: LEGO Star Wars UCS Hoth Echo Base (Teaser Video)
I hope the Wampa cave that we see in the video is included (I'm expecting it to be, it is a new design) The original Wampa Cave was one of those sets I waited on, trying to find a better deal, and missed out. I remember seeing it at B&N when it was near retirement for 35$ and I thought that wasn...

Re: LEGO Ideas
Like mentioned above, you can't be expected to know every license owned by a competitor. Ideas won't automatically reject a project as soon as it is submitted because of licensing conflicts. They tend to let it go and worry about those issues if it reaches its goal. Who knows, maybe in the year that...

Re: Walmart Summer LEGO Clearance 2015
My Walmart finally dropped down to the final level of clearance. To bad there was only one set left on the shelf by the time I got there. I picked up the X-men vs Sentinel set for 15$ (MSRP 49.99). I had been passing on a bunch of them for 35 for two weeks. There had been quite a few sets on clearan...

Re: *NEW* Darth Vader's Sith Starfighter
I'm curious, isn't this copyright infringement by modifying and using the Lego and Star Wars logos, box design elements and images?! I get "creativity" but you're using someone else's intellectual property without consent. And people complain about the Chinese counterfeiters... Seriously?...

Re: Fred Meyer BOGO 40% off Lego
If my math is not wrong, overall it is just 20% off if same value items are purchased. Is there any Friends & Family event going on at the same time? Maybe I am not understanding what you meant? I think everyone understands what a Bogo sale will equal per item...when comparing equally valued it...

Fred Meyer BOGO 40% off Lego
All this week Fred Meyer is having a BOGO 40% sale on all Lego (excluding friends/elves). You may be able to find a few things marked down that this will stack with...but that is very much a YMMV thing. There isn't really anything out right now that I'm still looking for. My Freddy did have Simpsons...

Re: Star Wars Movie Posters - LEGO-fied!
Do we have to make any purchase for these posters? Just walk in and ask for the posters? AFAIK, according to the listing, only the new hope poster will be given out during the May the fourth promotion. Not sure on specifics. It also says additional installments will come in the coming months so I g...

Re: Star Wars Movie Posters - LEGO-fied!
That's good to hear that there is chance they could be flat. I've only ever seen them folded (though I don't get to a Lego store very often). I have even tried to lay them flat and put books on them to even out the creases but it never works. I still have the posters from the UCS R2 and the Sail Bar...
