The sales were pretty weak last year if I remember correctly, and last year they were not glued. Hard to say what lego will do this year, but I have a feeling(and a hope) they wont be glued.

Found 3 picked through boxes at Northland location in calgary, went through half a box and got a full set minus the snowboarder.

oops thats at Walmart, not TRU.

It did last year, Unfortionatly for me however my TRU never got the 3rd one, so Im missing out on the fireman.

Good catch on that autobrick, I was wondering how I was gonna get that set for less, looks like TRU will be getting some of my dollars. Unless my order gets cancelled like it did with the Imperial flagship at 30% off.

Ya, I saw it this morning, and I just cant help but be reminded I havent spent a dollar at TRU in easily 3 months now. Poor sales.. and cheap tricks like mysteriously sold out products during these poor sales, or this, 20% off City last week, and now 20% off select city sets... :roll: give me a break.

This falls in the category of the death star for me, Its neat, I would not mind owning it, but I wont spend that kind of money, nor do I really have the space for it. I found it extremely hard to justify spending $300 CDN on the Imperial Shuttle, which I only got due to multiple gift cards on Christ...

My republic frigate was also packed in a lego shipping box.

Nothing marked on sale in a few Calgary wal-marts when I went by earlier today looking for CMF's (which if history tells me anything its still a few weeks out for us).

My MF was cancelled yet the code I used to discount is no longer valid on my account, causing me to miss the order again this morning

I have not recieved an e-mail stating my order was cancelled or changed, but it has changed on the order status page from Unable to process to Expected ship date 08/17 (tommorow) so we will see what happens.

Also while looking for the pyramid, I came across every new set BUT Mace's starfighter.

Pretty sure it comes from the states, and whatever brokerage fees they pay must be minimal if they dont pass it on to the customer. PS. FYI to all my fellow Canadians who buy from the states, make sure whoever is shipping it to you does not use UPS! United Parcel Stealers will charge insane brokerag...
