Re: LEGO 8803 Collectable Minifigures Series 3 Availability

The Walmart in Oakville at Dundas & Trafalgar has the new minifigs. They have them hanging on strips in the lego isle. Looks like about 1 box worth.

Re: Target coming to Canada

Apparently we arent losing Zellers entirely. What I heard on the radio was that they were purchasing 220 lease agreements of Zellers locations. Then they are going to convert most to Targets, and sell the lease agreements of the rest to other retailers. The 50ish remaining locations will still be h...

Target coming to Canada

http://www.vancouversun.com/business/Target+Zellers+enters+Canadian+market/4102623/story.html I'm not too sure about this. It's swapping one Lego provider with another. I was really hoping when Target announced that they were coming to Canada in 2010 it was as a new competitor. I didn't think we'd ...

Re: Licensed Themes You Would Like To See

BattleStar Galactica. Original and New. I'd love a UCS BattleStar about 2 1/2 feet long and 4-5 thousand pieces! Or you could ask Mark Kelso to sell you his stuff! Mark's original Cylon Raider is awesome. These are some pretty good models too. http://www.flickr.com/photos/-2x4-/collections/72157621...

Re: How best to pack Legos for storage

I don't think anyone needs to get a new hobby for merely desiring to keep a few sets stored in a built state. I think your best bet would be to get some large, sturdy cardboard or plastic boxes. Place the models in plastic shopping bags, put them in the boxes, and use some other, smaller pieces of ...

Re: Themes Discontinued in 2011 Speculation

Space Police has already been removed from the "Shop by Theme" section on Lego's site. I was looking for it this weekend. Spacepolice.lego.com is still up.

Re: [USA] Amazon.com Golden Box deal 12/14 12PM PST

Amazon.com will ship to Canada but their rates are expensive. Order will not be accepted at Amazon.com if package is shipped to Canada. I had tried to submit a Canadian address during check-out process, and got rejected. In fact, Amazon.ca does ship package to Canada; however, it doesn't carry many...

Re: Steal of a Deal (the thread for braggin')

I got:

1x7571 (Fight for the Dagger) for 14.99 (Golden Box Deal)
2x7572 (Quest Against Time) for 36.00 (Bogo 50%)

Then I used $30 in gift cards from Swagbucks to make the final price $26.15 after tax and free shipping!

This is worth $180 CAD retail! Thanks for the deals everyone!

The Canadian Dollar is now equal to the US dollar. So instead of lowering the Canadian prices they are raising the US ones. Brilliant!

Re: [POLL] LEGO Sales & Deals Forum - Member Exclusive?

I second hardtravelinghero's comment though to make the front page link to the exact thread, although I think that this might be hard to do considering if you need to see something in the members only sales and deals section you need to be logged in already. That's not difficult. A lot of sites wil...

[MINI] Mini Christmas Contest Entry: Santa's Sleigh

What is more Christmas then Santa and his sleigh? It was tough getting this under 75 pieces. It's 74 in total. I've included a LDD file if anyone would like to see how it's built. So here he is. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5004/5229460270_60939c8c62.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5130/5228866...
