Re: LEGO The Hobbit Goblin King Battle 79010 $44.99 @ Target
Oh, but they do care...Lego dosnt want to sell to resellers. I believe many here can validate. Anyway, my point is, if you were to resell through their channels, your stuck with a lot of junk.

Re: LEGO The Hobbit Goblin King Battle 79010 $44.99 @ Target
The set being this price shows many examples of problems marketing and why resellers shy away from becoming official partners. Lego still doesn't get it. Not sure how the new releases of Hobbit will fair, but scarey investments for many. My children reaffirmed months ago with no interest.

Re: TRU has dropped prices to MSRP and added BOGO 50% off!!
They could drop the prices a bit lower. Saw same items for less in November in store after all discounts and gift cards. Maybe a good deal for some. :)

Lol, the modulars ARE NOT selling... FAO and RUs have to actually give away highway pickups to get their inventory sold....maybe Lego will realize soon they sooo need their resellers. Lol

Not necessarily true. There are ways people buy popular sets using their discounts etc., they are just smarter with what they buy.

Re: LEGO Stores & LEGO Shop Black Friday 2013 Sales
You are so correct, without resellers their business would NOT be what it is today. The resellers are who are keeping their BRAND alive. The resellers are who probably make up for 65% percent of their sales and allowed their brand to penetrate the global marketplace. Let's remove that factor and the...

Re: LEGO Black Friday 2013 VIP Early Access (USA & Canada)
Is awful to hear the problems people had Saturday. I have expressed to Lego through a higher contact that people don't have time to sit around all day and retry, retry. That one might want to make their purchase and move on to their other plans for the day. Lego may have their hands tied with the IT...

Re: eBay - Haunted House Deal
Nice. I had a nice laugh on that! Still waiting for confirm emails for S@H or ANY correspondence on Saturday's purchases. At least with eBay there is some communication. I'm going to cancel my orders soon with Lego s@h if I don't see any movement soon, as I am not waiting to end up paying more elsew...

Re: LEGO Holdiay 2013 Sales (Further Reduced)
I took a hard look at the Lone Ranger train chase, for my son, and this set seems it should be around $59, but I suppose the tracks add some value more. I saw the republic ship last week in target.com, if you had purchased second one with 30% off that week! you could have got two for about $75 ea by...

..about your triple points, I would definitely speak to someone as they should not have to send any thing to corporate. What I don't understand is how they have the know how to make these complicated plastic pieces, package them and can't pull off the simple things, like keeping a web site running, ...

We'll with the pictures of the new restaurant set arriving soon, these three sets are not part of the display on the back of box.. I happened to notice that GE's price has jumped at Target.com to about 210.

Invest with caution
New investors be careful before going out and buying 20 sets or filling their brick link stashes. Hope I'm wrong.

Re: VIP Exclusive Holiday Shopping Event 2013
We'll no invite this year. Must of been because I complained about their Lego builds being scheduled at 5 ish on a work night and the impossibility of getting my kids there at that time with all the traffic in the area (Boston area stores) and getting out of work. It will save me money anyway....

Re: Fire Brigade 10197 and Town Hall 10224 Retiring soon?
I have personally have gotten rid of all my Fire Brigades 10197 as Lego has just printed too many. There are too many flippers holding on to them and will keep the price stagnated too long. Lego printed many rounds knowing investors would be buying, and quite frankly successful at basically smiling ...
