Finally broke down and ordered the LR train and LOTR ship. I get get 5% back from Chase as well, so both over 30% off.

Looks like it is only on the modular buildings (not showing up on the SW or Orthanc sets). Great deal - I would bite if I didn't already have the Highway pick-up. Ended up ordering this as I have a TRU gift card to use up and it is an ok saving off the MSRP.

Missed this one. I can order it for pick-up but it could be a month or more before I can get to a store - is there a time-limit for store pick-up?

My local store had the Vampire Castle on sale at 79.99. Only 20% off but it has been a difficult set to find on sale any lower.

This is an ok deal really, if Lego holds true to the no discounts on the collectors sets. Hopefully other stores take note and start offering a gift with purchase to get around the new policy. I could see Target or Walmart offering free GC's or something with these sets.

Not that exciting, except for the Death Star battle pack. I'll be picking up a ton of them.

Darn, missed the train set. Best price I've seen on it to date.

Picked up the Vampire Hearse for $16.50 and Attack of the Wargs for $23.50. Store had a Ghost Train left but it was pretty beat up so I left it. Most of the other sets listed above are still full price.

There is a new POTC movie in 2015, so there will probably be a new Black Pearl set then.

Darn, my local Kmart is all set up for a clearance sale with Hobbit and Monster Fighters stacked hiigh at 5% off. 20% off those prices is lame.

No clearance at my local Target. The stickers on the shelves had 'clearance' next to them, but none of the sets had clearance stickers and even those with a shelf sticker marked clearance rang up at full price.

Is this just price matching YoYo or is it the other way around? Either way, YoYo has most of these sets at the exact same prices.

Seaside House is OOS unfortunately but I still picked up the Log Cabin for $20 and Highway Pickup for $47, plus a handful of small city sets like the cement mixer and gas truck which were 30% off.

Was tempted to pick up the Constitution Train also but only 15% off so didn't bite.

I'll be picking this one up soon, just waiting for my local store to get it in. I hope it is successful enough that they make a few more sets like they have just done with Minecraft.

I like the new one better but not $30 better. I also can't see where the extra 300 pieces are compared to the original..
