Re: [CAN] ToysRUs LEGO Sale: December 10-16
If you buy Lego at Canadian Toys R Us right now it's worth to buy each set individually. I went to the Lawrence Ave. TRU and bought two sets of Lego 5899. They were giving a $10 off card for EACH customer, for ANY lego purchase. So I and my wife paid separately and got two of those cards. My first t...

Temple of Al Qullais
This is a MOC of the Temple of Al Qullais, mentioned in the story of the Year of the Elephant in Islamic legend. Apologies if religious MOCs are not allowed here. Other pictures on the blog http://readwithmeaning.wordpress.com/20 ... -elephant/

Re: 2011 LEGO NinjaGo
What I don't understand is WHY there are the vehicles in this set. I wished this was more "historical" set - with horses, samurai etc. Instead it's some weird mashup.

Retakes - most likely once I get some Bricklink stock come in! Right now though I am involved in another project which should take some time! Re: LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 3
I will try for samurai warrior, tribal chief, hulu dancer and fisherman. All the rest are very bland.
What really upsets me is that there's not much "Collectible" about these - they were all to be found in some form in one older set or another.

Lego (as part of toys) on the BBC
BBC compares and talks about toys past and today, and Lego is one of the toys pictured. Lego was actually toy of the year in 1970s!

Re: Lego Army Men on Patrol sale
There were some Star Wars sets but mostly it was Toy Story and Prince of Persia sets that were discounted. Remember to not only check the Lego aisle but some other aisles around - they sometimes move the Lego on clearance to another aisle. I even found some CS2 minifigs I didn't have (traffic cop) l...

Hello from Toronto
Hi, I live in Toronto. Just came out of my dark ages around 3-4 months ago. I check this site almost everyday on where to spend the next paycheque! I am from India so sometimes I now build with those in mind. Mostly I do photography using Lego minifigures. I recently did some Bollywood snaps (...

Bought a Kingdom Prisoner Rescue set at TRU in Buffalo (was in the area and went cross border shopping) and the saleslady gave BOTH the bag and the minifigure.

Lego Army Men on Patrol sale
I was in Walmart Super centre in Scarborough, Toronto (near Eglinton/Warden) and they had a whole bunch of Lego on Sale. I picked up some Lego Army Men on Petrol (7595) for $8 each (almost 50% off).
