I think $4.99 is a perfectly reasonable price. You get a licensed minifigure (worth nearly $10 on the secondary market) and 30 odd parts. I guess there's no pleasing some people.

30% is nice, but not great. Last time I checked, they still have a decent selection (you have to check behind the sets in the front to find the ones that were stuffed back there and forgotten). The exclusive Mini Lego Store is simply lovely. I definitely agree that it is far superior to the mostly generic minifig sets.

I agree with tensor; I wager the chrome TC-14 is going to be very popular (like the 2011 Holiday sets) and will be quickly snapped up.
