Wanted: Sticker for 10174
However, this request is not for the large (plaque) sticker. I have that...I am looking for the other (2x2 small grey) sticker. I don't want to pay these prices: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=65186&colorID=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; just to acquire th...

Re: [TRU] BOGO 50% 2/17 - 2/23
The new banner says also excludes Hard to Find items, so modulars and the like are omitted. It was only a matter of time. Otherwise, all of their prices are so marked up, a good deal with 50% off the second is still hard to find. Hard to find was in the small print in the initial banner. The modula...

Re: The Price Of Lego
We need the thanks button to return. Great post vynsane. I will point out I wasn't making an argument regarding the attractiveness of either theme ("good" or not), but merely pointing out the math errors. In fact, I am completely impartial - I own zero sets in either theme, nor do I wish t...

Re: The Price Of Lego
I'll check the math tonight when I get home. I figured out what you did. You didn't weight the averages - you just averaged the averages. In other words, it's not correct to take $0.69 / 6 - the correct method is $34.66 / 326 (as I described earlier). I initially couldn't figure out what the $0.69,...

Re: The Price Of Lego
While it might not have been posted on this site, most of us read Brickset (or CAG, or Eurobricks), where it was big news a few weeks ago. Edit: I just checked your math and it's way off. I'm not sure what you did, but your "average PpP" calculations are wrong. Also, your argument about no...

Re: [Amazon] Fire Brigade 10197 - $119.00
So I picked up the Fire Brigade from my friendly neighbourhood package service recently and found that the box was unsealed. Not cut open, it just looks like the tape wasn't very sticky. So I'm wondering, is anyone able to verify the box contents for me? I don't care that it's unsealed since I plan...

Re: Retiring Soon Update
Probably somebody in the LEGO IT just messed up. Out of the 9 sets recently added to the Retiring Soon tag, only the Sungnyemun makes sense to me. Notice also that the other 8 have a top tag that says NEW and not Retiring Soon. Even if the Retiring Soon tag is part of the tags in the listing. Nope ...

Re: 2013 New York Toy Fair LEGO Pictures Now Out
While true, I don't know if you can truly compare sets via price per piece when talking about trains or ships. Those are always more expensive per piece (due to large molded segments, rails, etc).
I think everyone can agree the US prices for both of those licensed waves are excellent!
