Re: Most cost effective?

I have heard that it is one container cheaper to do the bulk box price, but I do not know if that was taking into account spending time snapping all the legos together before counting or not. Whichever container you go with, snapping bricks together will definitely get you more bricks. The Best way...

Re: [US] Books-a-Million up to 30% off + $10 off $50

Does anyone know if B-A-M sells Lego instore? Yes. The selection is a lot better, but they do not match their online pricing. However, at my local store they appear to be getting ready for the new 2012 sets, as a lot of the older sets are stickered with a 20% discount (plus another 10% if you're a ...

Re: Lego aisles rocked like a hurricane

Other than the big gap in the middle, the aisle doesn't look too bad... until you realize that they've padded the LEGO section (which I marked in red on the floor) has been padded out with Paper Jamz on the near end (even the end cap is usually LEGO!), Mega Bloks/KREO on the far end, and assorted ot...

Re: Burlington Mass Lego store

Looks like they had a storm of people before xmas and for. boxing day. Was hoping to pick up an Emerald night, Maersk Ship, and FireTemple but none to be found I recommend calling ahead if you're looking for a particular set, but the Natick and Braintree stores aren't too far if you have some wheel...

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

Are most Walmart's cleared out by now? And do the shelf prices still show regular price? I am planning to make a drive to the US tomorrow. Btw, anyone in the Bellingham, WA visit the Walmart near Bellis Fair? How is the selection there? It varies by store, but I wouldn't say their cleared out, but ...

Found myself on the road today for other reasons and swung into some WMs along the way to see if their selection was any better than the WMs near me - Augusta, ME - Lots of (SW) Advents, Plo Koon's Starfighters, Freeco Speeders, (Atlantis) Deep Sea Raiders, and (HP) Freeing Dobbys Waterville, ME - L...

Judging by the Wal-Mart Clearance thread, they seem to be having a chain wide clearance like last year.

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

All the stores near me had been pretty much cleaned out of everything except 7984 Deep Sea Raider, 4736 Freeing Dobby, 7188 King's Carriage Ambush and 6918 Blacksmith Attack, and lots of Cars sets. Did luck out and manage to find a lone City of Atlantis -- not really a fan, so if someone's intereste...

Re: [USA+World] Books-A-Million

Decided to bite on the $10 reward card deal and noticed that other than having to buy $100's worth of GCs in one purchase to qualify, and redeeming the rewards cards in-store only and during January, there were - surprisingly - no other restrictions. So I wondered... what happens if you buy $100's w...

Did Lego team up with Bandai? No, they just make the vending machine. Just like the vending machines you find in the US and other countries, the toys inside vary wildy. http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/7359/2605696capsulestation0.jpg However, Bandai have teamed up with MegaBloks on a number of oc...
