Will both of these hit the lego stores in the US?

Funny you mention about the TRU shipping, the last time I ordered 3 sets, one looked like it was run over by a truck, so I took it back to the store to exchange it (fortunately, they had it in stock).

Well, since I finally got all of the LOTR sets, I'm now looking at modular, trains, monster fighters and a few different combinations. Unless this hits at 7am est, then I'm sleeping. :)

So more Disney licensed sets with Johnny Depp. I really hope one of the sets has a big Saloon.

Well, I guess Amazon is sold out for the Death Star now, cheapest price on Amazon is now $473.37 by a third party ($459.88+13.49 shipping).

Just picked it up today. It's a 60 piece set and came in a bigger polybag than I expected. Nice compact car with fangs. :)

In the US, Gamestop has started the preorder bonus for the Elrond minifig today! It appears to be as a preorder bonus for all formats ( PS3, XBOX 360, DS, 3DS, Vita, Wii and PC) of Lego Lord of the Rings. :)
Also, it appears only be exclusive to the Gamestop stores.
