Re: [USA] Fry's Electronics Lego Advent Calender Clearance

Frys has LEGO? There's one about 1 mile from my house, and I've probably been in there a hundred times over the years, and never seen LEGO. Oh well. Website wasn't working last night correctly for me, but working now, and still one of each left! Thanks for the tip!

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

I'd say the most important thing about buying in these sales is to know your area and what kind of competition you are up against. It sounds like a mix of people that have to fight to get 30% while others enjoy 50% since there isn't as much competition in their area. I find Walmarts current pricing...

Ooh, I didn't think of that. Maybe it is the REAL Ninjago Skull Truck! Like drivable and everything. Used by actual ninjas. With real skulls! I can use it crush my neighbors' puny little cars!

Re: Kmart online clearance!

Well, of course, it's all sold out online, and none of the stores near me have anything in inventory, as usual. Oh well, glad some of you got some good deals! BTW, I clicked on the Layaway button to see what that was all about, and was a bit surprised by the wonderful deal offered there. Check this ...

My bad. I only looked for a previous post in this forum, and didn't think to look in the Coupons forum. I've got to start checking that forum more often anyway; thanks for the reminder.

YoYo.com $25 worth of toys for $12

YoYo.com, which is a subsidiary of Amazon, is offering a $25 for $12 promo. It's through local.amazon.com, which appears to be a GroupOn-like part of Amazon. This specific link ( https://local.amazon.com/sf-peninsula/B007S1KWYI ) is for SF Bay Area, but the deal appears to available in at least seve...

Good to know. I've cruised by a few times, since I live about four blocks from a Goodwill store, but have never seen LEGO before. I will check more often. Where in Cali are you btw?

Got my Warehouse Deal MMV today! It didn't look opened at all. I checked the bags -- all 17 of them are in there! (18 if you count the attached cow bags as two)

Re: MMV 10193 is back at 89.86 on Amazon.com

Thanks! Been waiting to grab this forever, and finally just decided to pull the trigger on the Warehouse Deal. We've got Amazon Prime, so no shipping or tax, which makes it much better. I had been waiting for it to come down more, but then realized that $80.87 works out to five cents per piece, whic...

I picked up four of these at $20 at Walmart right after Christmas, and it's great at that price. The snowspeeder is quite nice, and you get that Wampa figure!

Thanks. Got a few Swamp Speeders, some Alien Strikers, two Jetbugs, and the Frog game. Can't wait to use those frogs in MOCs. Will use the Swamp Speeders and Jetbugs as birthday presents for my son's classmates. Re picking some of this up at Walmart or Target -- not around here, they're pretty well ...

Re: [USA] Target Christmas/Holiday - 70% off

Went to Mt View CA store this afternoon for something completely unrelated to LEGO (hard to believe, right?). Sale looked pretty unimpressive as far as LEGO is concerned. A Whitecap bay marked down to $51.00. Some Cars sets marked down a bit. Quite a few 8078 Portal of Atlantis marked down to...

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

Swung by the store in Marina, CA today on our way back from Monterey, and found a bunch of 8089 Hoth Wampa sets for $19.99. Grabbed two; there's probably at least a dozen more still there. Spent another ten minutes scanning every LEGO set in the store, but the only other things on sale were the litt...

If anyone has seen any Black Pearls on sale in the greater San Jose area, let me know. Checked Mt View and didn't see any. Would also be interested in any Kingdoms stuff, Slave I, or Scorpion Pyramid.

Hit the Mountain View, CA store this afternoon and picked up two Rise of the Sphinx (a bunch more left), one Mace Windu's Jedi Starfighter (lots still in stock), and a Cursed Cobra Statue, all 50% off. Wasn't much else on sale if any. Nothing marked on sale; you have to scan it all to know. One Scor...

If I go to a B&M Lego store, do I have to have my Lego VIP card with me? I lost it, but I do know my VIP number; if they don't accept it I guess I could call customer service afterwards(?) No problem at all. They can look it up via the number, your name and address, or your email address. I nev...

Thanks Gabrielle11! I was pretty bummed after missing Friday night's Amazon clearance (so wanted that PotC Mill set). Woke up late this morning and saw this deal and thought: great, another clearance that I've slept through! But was able to snag a few Hoth Wampa sets and some other sets! Palpatine's...

Re: [USA] LEGO after xmas sale

The sale doesn't actually start until Dec 28th, so really don't bother going to the store or online until after I clean them out, er, I mean, until then :-D Last year there was great availability in the stores on the 26th and even the 27th. I picked up a bunch of the PoP sets at 50% off. Plus Target...
