Re: TARGET 70% OFF
I went by another store and picked up at 70% off: Chima Ultimate Speedor tournament $8.98 - Eris Eagle Interceptor $8.38 x2 City Fire Chief Car $3.88 and another TMNT Shellraiser chase $17.98 I usually only buy 1 of each set, but I picked up a few extras because they were just too cheap. I will use...

Re: Wal Mart Markdowns
My hunch that all the sets had been moved to the back (I knew for a fact that they had not sold the same Spongebob sets that had been there for three years, and various other shelfwarmers) was confirmed last week when I watched the employees pull out several pallets and unbox clearance toys. Howeve...

There's a reason I used to spend $100.00 every 6 weeks at TRU, but now spent about $100.00 over the past 30 months.toyz4me wrote:I knew I wasn't imagining things!!You mean like how the LR Train Chase was $104.99 before the BOGO, and suddely becomes $119.99 when the BOGO kicks in?

Re: Wal Mart Markdowns
This is REALLY starting to annoy me. How do people find such amazing deals when my Wal-Marts literally never have anything? I went to 3 Wal-Marts today and 2 Targets. One WM had a few items clearanced. Crater Creeper was marked down to $11, Gold Getaway down to $18 or 19 , and Wizard Battle was dow...

While TRU.com likes to jack up prices and exclude everything, you can usually find better deals on their ebay site, even if they don't have everything available. For example the SW 3in1 pack is eligible for BOGO and priced at $99.99 You mean like how the LR Train Chase was $104.99 before the BOGO, ...

Re: Wal Mart Markdowns

Called another Walmart that web said had the set in stock. 18 minutes on the phone, call being dropped twice...sorry, don't have it. Dear Walmart...just don't bother ha...

Re: Target TMNT 30270 $2.99
I've picked up stuff at 90% in past years...it seems like none made it to that stage this year...or someone was lurking for the moment it went to 90% and loaded up. Still have a drawerful of "Potions Cart" that I bought at 90% a couple years back, along with a sprinkling of army men, helic...

Look no bricks. What a shame, but not a surprise. Really is a polybag with a 10 brick set so hard?

Re: Invest with caution
I would hardly call keeping something in production when the demand is there a "one fingered salute." Sure, it means resellers may not realize profit they want, but that means jack and crap as far as the Lego group is concerned. You, and I for that matter, aren't owed anything by TLG as re...

Re: [US] Walmart Black Friday Ad
Of course they are because LEGO is selling better each year. 10 years ago LEGO had 1000 piece plastic buckets for $20, then sometimes had gold pieces in them, or "rare" purple (Remember when purple was rare?) or just 500 random pieces from LEGO cleaning out their warehouses. Man tho...

Re: What do "Special Edition" and "Limited Edition" mean?
Hi all, Do "Special Edition" or "Limited Edition" have any specific meaning when LEGO used them to describe their sets? I think one means it is restricted to certain retailers, and the other means it is limited in time, but I'm not sure. It means 12 cents a piece instead of 10.
