Re: 2011 LEGO NinjaGo (Summer)

It seems the actual things are on display somewhere: (Pics from Pierre Import's photo stream) http://www.flickr.com/photos/pierre_import/ Go to page 2 for the Summer 2011 sets. That black robed Sensei Wu and golden sword look awesome, and the red dragon looks much like the white one we'll be getting...

Crutch Technique Ideas

I'm planning on doing a small Christmas Carol scene/minifigures, and have gotten stuck on the character of Tiny Tim. As he's a child, I gave him short legs, but cannot figure out how to give him a suitable crutch. I've tried this part: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=60849 but cannot work...

Re: [USA] Target 30062 Kingdoms polybag

Yes, exactly what I've been hoping for. A drumstick, green apples, 4x4 round plate in yellow, dk green leaf, spears, and brown crate! That extra $1 than usual is worth such a parts pack in this set, rather than, for $3, that...that...fire "helicopter". ;)

Re: Lego Star Wars Magnet Figures

I guess the next batch of minifigures will be this. Aayla Secura, Cad Bane, and another clone wars figure (maybe shahan alama or senate commando captain). This will make clone turbo tank and cad bane's speeder "free" of any exclusive figures. Good for those that don't plan on getting the ...

I saw this a while ago, and loved it. :D

I've always been a big fan of most any CGI LEGO image/video.

Nope, the gnome. A surprising number of parts seem to have come from series 3, but that's still awesome! The tooth elements in pearl gold, the skates, the mohawk, the kimono dress and torso elements, the Doc Inferno hair in bley...awesome!

Re: [REVIEW] Atlantis 7978 Angler Attack

I purchased this set to review a while ago as part of the BOGO 50% sale they had, but it seems you beat me to it! Regardless, great review, and I agree the 2011 Atlantis sets are much better in design and elements in comparison to the 2010 line. ;) Again, great job and thanks for reviewing!

Re: LEGO 8803 Collectable Minifigures Series 3 Availability

I recently called my local TRU in Silicon Valley, CA, and the associate told me they had over 100 in stock, for $2.99. She said if the BOGO 50% was online, it should apply to instore purchases as well. Wonderful! :D

Re: 2011 LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean

I feel this image is kind of odd...I noticed all the parts, with the exception of some, were previously released elements, such used for a as the lady with dress minifigure having a slope element previously witch minifigure, or the pirate with the aqua green parrot. :? And, Koromo, I think the rapie...

Re: What sets are so good you've paid full price to get?

Very recently, I purchased Harry Potter Quidditch at the full $20, if you don't count the 5% off you get from a VIP card. The minifigures are superb, well worth it, and the piece selection is average. ;)

Nice review BobaFett2! :D

I voted for average, because In my opinion, the parts are average, the model itself is below average, and the minifigure is above average, with an outstanding torso print! ;)

Re: What lego did I buy today thread

With Border's 50% off coupon, I managed a Harry Potter Burrow set for around $40, which works out to between 30 and 40 percent off list price. IMO, considering the great parts, it was a good deal. ;)

50% off? That's wonderful, probably the best coupon offer this year. Even with the markup, that's a fairly good discount! :)

Re: What lego did I buy today thread

Great find on a PoP 7570 - Ostrich Race. Last one on the shelf at Walmart. Paid only $5! I thought I was getting a good deal for $17, which it was marked as. Went back to try my luck on the only other PoP set they had left. Paid $29 for 7572 - Quest Against Time. Yes, that is a great deal. I find i...

Re: LEGO MBA - replacement for Brickmaster

And who isn't a sucker for a sense of achievement via unique minifigures. If done well, they might even be more popular than those collectable minifigures. Imagine getting a little brick-built trophy with chrome bricks that says stuff like "Apprentice Builder" (bronze brick) "Trained...

Re: LEGO MBA - replacement for Brickmaster

Sounds odd...more of a achievement system, with added tinges of the original Brickmaster. ;) 1000+ pieces does sound impressive, but if they're going to make this $100, then I'd rather have the Brickmaster minis for $40. :? I'd still love to see it when it's released, though, and what kind of change...

Good review! ;) Actually, Malfoy's hairpiece has already been available in a variety of colors in a variety of minifigures: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=40239 . The Tan version, however, was only released in one other set, Graveyard Duel. Which makes this a great opportunity to get tha...

Seems like a good deal...with the $5 off coupon (expires 11/24) you could get Hagrid's Hut and the Burrow for around $75. :) Also, did anyone notice that odd whack-up on that pic a few posts above with Marcus Flint with Malfoy's hair?

It's funny, as just today I was dreaming about the day when Lego finally produces official skate elements rather than the ugly tooth piece. Now it seems we'll be getting them in the hockey player and speed skater! :D "The man in the safety suit" sounds odd though. Perhaps some shiny ...

Re: [POLL] What did you think about this year's Bricktober?

I suppose it was okay :? ...the other promos/sales were the main draw, otherwise, I wouldn't be spending $20 simply for a low quality magnet. I only go the Imperial Soldier in the first week, but with a Space Police HQ down to $50, i think it was a fairly good deal. :P
