Last weekend, my TRU had signs up in-store saying this polybag was free with a $30 (maybe $35...can't recall) purchase. Of course, they didn't have any in stock. I went back last night and, while the sale was over, they had about a dozen of them for individual sale - $4.99 each.

I broke down and snatched one up on eBay from a seller in Texas. $15 w/ free shipping. Probably the most I would ever pay for a polybag, and only because it's the Joker.

These polybags will be the death of me.

The TRU link is now dead. Looks like they pulled it from the site.

I did see a couple of these on eBay this past week, though they were priced at $30+ and shipped from Hong Kong. Hopefully TRU stores will have them soon.

For TRU, does the item have to be in stock by the competitor to get the price match? When I've price-matched at TRU (using the Amazon app on my phone), they have only asked to see that it says 'Ships and Sold by Amazon' - I've never had them check to see if it's in stock, but you never know if it w...

I have price-matched at TRU many times. They are a bit less-than-friendly about it sometimes, but I just keep on smiling and stay as polite as I can. Find an employee who seems nice, and turn on the charm!
