They weren't mark up instores or online but they're already so expensive ($175 for hogwarts castle) even at msrp. :(

This is not the case in canada. No minifigures at any tru or walmart here. The staff there told me they will not get anymore. :(

They started doing that a few months ago after the price bug in May. Magnets and keychains that were on sale in US and Canada became only on sale in US. Lesser items on sale compared to US too. I bet shop at home is trying to make back the loss by charging us regular price for on sale items.

I like the sets in 2009 (clone walker battle pack, hyena droid bomber, venator, etc) since its all high quality boxes and not a thin cardboard box. But in 2010, the first wave (freeco speeder, hoth battle pack, etc) has a somewhat different box quality. Not the thin cardboard one, but not the high q...

The republic gunship is already $180 and at-te is $129 at bricklink. Did anyone got a few extra before they got sold out? I can see the gunship going above $200 by Christmas.

Ordering from legoshop was one of the good things back in the old days when there was free shipping and only 1 tax. Sigh. You can't fault LEGO for merely abiding by the tax laws of you country.
