Cartoons as a whole tend to lack the substance that lego is looking for. They either rely on gross or inappropriate humour , or meanness.
I recognize there are exceptions, this is just what I see from my experience

I like the set alot, mainly because of the minifigs. Personally, I prefer ground ships for playing.
