Re: 2011 LEGO Alien Conquest
I'm actually surprised how bulky the Earth Defense HQ is. Comparing it to the agents trailer or the world racer truck, the walls are actually brick built rather than technic beams and large plates....very reminiscent of classic space. You would think that the Vic Viper would be more protected in it...

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance
dont quote me but i think $29.99 is msrp. I have seen several sets in the clearance section, most recently, Slave 1, with a red clearance shelf tag, listing the msrp as the sale price. I think the do this to trick people into buying regularly priced items thinking they are getting a clearance price...

I wonder if this is indication that it is far too expensive for the demographic it's aimed at?Brickbuilder0937 wrote:I just noticed on the sales and deals page that LEGO Universe is now only $9.99 USD.

If you compare the arm lengths, the hands are longer. I think they're like the claws on the Lobster Warrior.Mantisking wrote:Mantisking wrote:Those boxing gloves look real interesting. Are they? How can you tell?BobaFett2 wrote:Yeah. But they're held in his hands. Posing problems?

Re: 2011 LEGO Alien Conquest
I just watched the video too. That truck is huge. That UFO is giant! I love how the captured alien goes into an observation bay so things remain sterile. Lots of playability. Jared I love that alien thing too. It surprised me-but it's an awesome system. Too bad it's too big to fit into a smaller ve...

Re: LEGO Herioca
The Heroica theme will be a subtheme of LEGO Games. It was present at the 2011 toyfair ( Eurobricks of course ). Of course, I'm pretty certain that there are not stats or special dice (so it couldn't be like D&D), but it's a very interesting idea. I hope that it turns out to be a good one. I see...

These new Kingdoms sets are great. I love how they are displaying them on the printed bases. Very excited for the chickens, I've always wanted those. Love all the colours and prints for the pigs and horses. Are those a bunch of new weapons in the blacksmith shop? New axe and sword, among others thi...

Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases
After being teased by my son and boyfriend for only buying minifigures and never buying bricks, I decided to buy a random box of bricks from ebay. The picture showed a vintage storage box, a pile of loose bricks (around 500 +/-), some instruction manuals, and a few minifigures sorta fuzzy in the di...

Re: Retired sets database?
However, they don't say whether or not they are retired-just assume that anything pre-2009 is. Brickset does -- at least for recent sets -- list retirement dates under "availability/price". e.g., 7667-1 Imperial Dropship US availability/price 22 Dec 07 - 17 Apr 09 $9.99 UK availability/pr...
