That's a a spybotics module, according to BL. The wiki page mentions (under the Sets section) that there should be a matching color-coordinated remote control that goes with it.

My store's had them at $2.99 since they came out; this morning they're up to $3.99.

Same. It's not that we're not finding them, the store(s) just don't even have that stock any more. I'm kind of surprised you're still finding that much available wherever you are, to be honest.

Thanks for the heads-up! There wasn't anything over 30% at my store: a Battle of Smallville and a few of the big Chima sets.
