Those shoulders look like Dalek parts from Character Building. Is your droid out to exterminate?

Re: May the 4th be with you (2013)

I placed my order about 10 minutes into the sale. Got notice that my complete order (2 B-wings and some other stuff) has shipped.

Now I just hope my VIP points get credited correctly.

^ True, it could be another 10215 - Obi-Wan's Starfighter. Nobody's making a fortune on that on eBay.

The B-wing is 50% off for North America only. Dang, Europe got shafted.

And considering how bad last year's sale was, that's really saying something.

Re: [USA] Fred Meyer CMF series 10

Does anyone know how many figures are typically made for other limited edition runs? I'm curious how a run of 5,000 Mr. Golds compares to something like the ComicCon limited edition minifigs like Green Lantern or Bizarro.

Re: Shop @ Home and LEGO stores USA

Wow, I haven't been this unimpressed since May 4. I thought MMV would get a good clearance price like the Emerald Night did last year.

Actually, the Duplo train track is the only enticing thing for me. My son and I make some great layouts and the limitation always seems to be straight track pieces.

Re: [USA] LEGO Fire Brigade on sale for $129.97

Actually, Amazon looks to have a lot of discounts on Lego right now. Very little is selling at full list price or at Amazon's famous non-discount (like 5 cents off the modulars). I guess they're prepped for the Black Friday shoppers.

That's really strange for Amazon to have a markup on an item when it isn't be sold via a 3rd party. I think it's more of a pricing error.

Got one! Thanks for making this known. I'd been waiting to get the 7066 at a decent discount when it was discontinued and vanished. This deal is much better than what I would have settled for earlier.

Re: LEGO Free Shipping e-mail

So everyone who got the promo for free shipping at $49 should place an order sufficient to get free shipping. Everyone who received the other promos, or no promo at all, should avoid a purchase. It would send a message. Easy for me to say. I'm in Taiwan; they wouldn't ship to me in the first place.

I guess I figured that if the Friends Advent Calendar were still in the pipeline that they would make it available for pre-order at the same time as SW and City ones. Given the stories like Model Gal's of cancelled-but-still-happening I'm kind of waiting to see it before believing it's still going t...

Re: [US] Amazon to collect sales tax in more states

Amazon's big reason to begin paying sales tax (IMO) is so that they can open more distribution points Not sure I agree with you on that. When Amazon opens a distribution center they do it under a different company name. They claim that this technically maintains the parent company as not having a p...
