Re: LEGO 40107 Holiday Part 2 Set 2014 Christmas

...Then again, I'm the same guy who's holding out for white baseplates to tie it altogether. You're not the only one. It still amazes me that after so many years of the Winter Village and recently a theme set in the arctic we can't buy white baseplates. Seems like a really simple item that would se...

Re: B&N BOGO50 on "educational" toys ONLINE ONLY

Looks like all of the Advent calendars are now OOS. And the Friends calendar now has the typical disclaimer exempting it from discounts. The only Lego Advent calendars that show up now are from Marketplace sellers at jacked up prices. Does anyone know a trick to weed out the Marketplace vendors from...

Re: 2015 January LEGO Elves Set Pictures 41071 41072 41073 4

I have to admit that these look better than I expected when I heard that an Elves product line was in the works. Colors are great. I just hope trees will have more foliage. So many treehouse type sets have thick trunks topped with almost no leaves. Need more like the tree in the MMV. Also good to se...

Great looking figure. But I'm conflicted because looking at it makes me remember that terrible movie.

Re: Minifig Series 12 at Walmart

There are several good ones in this series. Goth girl and pig guy especially appeal to me. But I'm put off by the price increase. I understand that costs are continually rising, especially labor costs in China over the past few years. I would hope that TLG would understand that high percentage price...

Re: [USA] LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendars Now Available at A

A superhero calendar (either DC or Marvel) would be fantastic. But I'd settle for a Friends calendar that didn't give me so much feeling of deja vu.

At the moment Amazon US has the Exo Suit. Looks like they have 157 in stock as of my writing this. Didn't see anything about a purchase limit (unlike S@H).

Am I the only one who's excited about a Black Manta minifig? I always thought he was the coolest looking guy in the Legion of Doom.

Re: #21109 LEGO Exo-Suit Giveaway & Availability Update

If you folks in North America and Europe think this set (or frankly any of these limited run sets) is hard to find, try living in a country that TLG doesn't give a hoot about. We don't see Mars Rovers or time traveling cars in these parts.

Wow, surprised not only that Amazon has this kind of sale but that it includes the newer super hero sets like X-men and Guardians of the Galaxy. Good find!

Re: TeeFury LEGO Shirt We are Star Stuff for $11

... I'm actually upset that I missed out on some seemingly great Firefly/Serenity designs. I suggest getting on their e-mail list. Getting their e-mail with the daily design(s) is a good way to not miss a good one while it's still cheap. I only wish they sent the e-mail earlier. Because of my time ...

Re: TeeFury LEGO Shirt We are Star Stuff for $11

I have bought from them several times over the years, including recently. Their quality is very good and the shipping prices are cheap, especially for international. Just be aware that their shirts are only available for 24 hours at the bargain price of $11. After that some will be available for &qu...

Every May the 4th for the past few years I've had hopes that the Death Star will go out with a bang. The only people saying "maybe next year" more often are Cubs fans.

Not surprised at all. A limited edition super hero minifig that doesn't require attending a convention. Kind of hard to believe it lasted as long as it did.

Re: LEGO The Simpsons Series Minifigures (List Revealed)

This is looking like the first CMF series that I just pass on completely. And the price increase doesn't sit well with me either, since prices seldom come back down after going up for some reason. I hope I'm wrong on that and this series' price tag is to cover the double-whammy of licensing fees and...
