Re: LEGO Series 14 Monster Minifigures 71010 Leaflet & Exclu

That fly is really creepy. I can see me getting several gargoyles for a castle, for sure. Yes, you are so right. That Fly is great. The head looks freakishly detailed. The Gargoyles look like a fantastic addition for a creepy haunted house or a Castle theme. Hmm, I wonder if there's any chance...

Lucky. What state are you in? Georgia always seems to get things a few months later than everyone else.

Re: Legos and Mold

Thanks for the response! The basement pretty much has to have a dehumidifier (we found that out the hard way!) and repainting is already budgeted. Seems like from your experience that should take care of it. Were there any labels on those plastic boxes? I'm curious because that might indicate sticke...

Re: Builders, Lego Enthusiasts, AFOL's lend me your bricks

Late welcome!

Another 30+ Lego AFOL here. Nerding out with fellow fans really is fun. Meet a guy just last week who'd recently gotten back into Lego. He'd gotten his son into the brick too and now the kid wants to be an engineer! That's just awesome.

Re: Old Lego pieces hard to play with?

I haven't noticed any issues with my older Legos but I remember them being tighter back then generally. Actually, I think the older bricks were heavier too. I wonder if they've lowered the plastic density slightly over the years or changed the formula to make bricks lighter. P.S. Why do dogs chew or...

Re: 71010 Series 14 Halloween LEGO Minifigures - Additional

The Grim Reaper looks amazing with that phantasmal lower body. The Skeleton seems very interesting since it's clearly a regular minifig wearing a Skeleton costume. It makes you wonder: are they all supposed to be in costume or is that poor guy surrounded by real monsters? They all look great. Hope t...

Re: Official Images & Descriptions of LEGO Scooby-Doo Sets (

These sets are such a welcome thing for me. I've loved Scooby Doo for a long time, maybe longer than Lego, and this license is just awesome. I can't wait to dig in but it's going to be hard to afford them all.

that bird looks like it would be at home amongst Duplo figures The Duplos should roast it and eat it. I don't know what exactly bothers me so much about this entire license but Lego Angry Birds just makes me angry for some reason. It's probably because I see Angry Birds merch and references everywh...

Re: LEGO 71010 Series 14 Minifigures (Halloween Theme)

I wish they'd sell sets on Lego's shop at home site. Being able to buy individual minifigs would be so worth the extra cost even if it would take me forever to raise the money.

Re: LEGO Group to Invest 1 Billion DKK to Search for Sustain

VW's tail lens are made out of recyclable plastic i know for sure. But would lego lower prices of sets if they went that route? They would probably have to raise prices. Recycling takes more energy and effort to produce usable materials than using the normal raw materials so the cost is inherently ...

Tell fricking China that..... China is run by Communists. Expecting them to care about international laws or property rights is like expecting a serial killer to not kill people because you asked politely. Lego should known better and never sent anything there in the first place if they didn't want...

Are you planning to open said taped box and free the aforementioned minifig from his pernicious plastic prison? Your grammar suggests he remains trapped. Free the minifig!

Lego is a European company and, at least a few years ago, Germany was actually their biggest market. That probably explains the release delays we get.

He was one of the truly great talents in the acting world. He gave amazing performances regardless of the role or the film. Re: June 2015 LEGO Shop & Brand Stores Promotion and Sales

What's the TMNT treatment? That license got pulled from Lego so no more Lego sets of mutant teen turtles and their ninja antics. In less euphemistic language, I was hoping Marvel and DC weren't pulling their licenses too. Not a very likely scenario but then I've seen corporate folks do lots of thin...

Re: 21302 The Big Bang Theory, LEGO Ideas #010

Are the prices high? The Delorean was easy to get so I don't blame people for who decided to buy a bunch for resell. Once the Dimensions BTTF sets come out the price should stabilize. The prices can be high depending on the seller but what gets really frustrating is the decently priced ones also te...
