Perhaps one could compensate for Slimer with Rotta, Clinger or the Kraang. :)twbooth wrote:Very cool, but will admit a tinge of disappointment that there is no Slimer. :-/

An exquisite selection of parts, Nannan! The kids in beds are perfectly portrayed and the dream bubbles are very creative. :)

Great observation. Also, it seems there are double / inverted slopes in yellow and possibly red ... I wish one of these sets had them in white.dr_spock wrote:Oooo, mini ball joints!

The gift card deal seems to be over. When it was working, it automatically placed the gift card in your online shopping cart as an additional item at zero cost.

Excellent work! Did you also create the STAR carwash and TIDE motel? This would fit perfectly with both of those.

Re: [USA] B&N Architecture Event July 25-28th
Does anybody know if sign up is required or if it just open to all????? Sign up is highly advised because there are only 25 spots per store, and its not open to anyone under 15. Not all Barnes & Noble stores will host the event, only those which have been deemed to be in the targeted demographi...

Re: [USA] B&N Architecture Event July 25-28th
Some stores have AFOL's leading the workshop. The architecture set contains about 1200 pieces that are almost exclusively white with a handful of clear plates and small clear panels. Each participant can create a structure, (on a white 16x16 plate,) that will be put on display in B&N to promote ...

Re: Creator Expert 10235 Winter Village Market
The secondary market prices on retired winter village sets are currently two or three times the original MSRP ... within a year of production! I wonder if this influenced the MSRP for this set or if the price is determined by a formula which takes into account the number of parts, the number of mini...

The builder(s) must have cut the green dragon to put it on the bow and glued coins around each cannon opening. If this showed up at a company sanctioned event, would they ask for it to be removed because parts were cut and parts were painted? http://www.lauritz.com/Item/ItemImage/ItemImagePage.aspx?...

Exactly, if your state gets a store, even if you are 6 hours away from the store, you have to pay sales tax.Relhak wrote:Dangit! Now I have pay sales tax on my S@H orders *and* drive over the state line to the nearest store.

Re: [MOC] Professor Octi teaching calculus.
I noticed that none of the students seem to be paying attention. As a high school teacher, I can say that this lack of focus among the students make it very realistic. Of course the clever octopus design and color scheme, along with the effort you put into the math on the chalkboard make this an adm...

Re: LEGO Life Size Forest at Sydney, Australia
There's something sort of creepy about this display. What the world will look like in an environmentally devastated future, maybe. Like if we all have to live underground due to the polluted air, and this is the only forest/park we can have in our underground shelters. Is that the premise of the ne...

Re: LEGO Contest Discussion Topic
I think it has to be a building contest because you want people to be motivated to create something interesting to share ... perhaps a contest to build something that fits in the winter village.
