theres gotta be a way to detach them

For anyone in the Victoria BC CANADA area, as of last night the downtown London Drugs has 8 boxes, several of which are unopened! Not in the toy aisle, but in the center aisle of the store with the seasonal items, across from the pharmacy

Picked up a couple of Halo MB figs at TRU, the weapons are kinda "meh" but the figs themselves have so much detail and poseability! They look great with a couple of lightsabers in their hands!!

What I would find very very funny is when TLG turns all these figures into magnets. Buying the Slave I would be complete waste of money when its about the same as the 6209 version. you know thats totally going happen too, probably after Christmas, when all the parents shell out the $$ for these out...

Tried that, TRU told me that individual stores can charge whatever they want, regardless of national advertising. Pretty stupid way to do business!

Maybe some of us Canadian Lego Fans should just pool our resourses and open our own Vancouver/ Toronto/ Montreal store? Anyone interested?

Wish I hadn't spent $20 to get a Kit Fisto of EBay, oh well! Thinking now I don't have to buy Turbo Tank or Slave 1, when I can probably wait 6 months after they're released and get the minifigs in magnets!

I think the Battle of Alamut set loots pretty good, Ive always liked big fortress sets! Hopefully it'll go on sale around Christmas! If the line does discontinue after one run, you can bet the Nizam and Seso minifigs will be super expensive!
