my experience is that if it ships in such a way that final delivery is by Canada Post, there's a good chance you won't pay any tax. varies too much by set to give a solid answer. Based on my limited experience of watching values, sets that are still relatively common take a bigger hit when opened compared to ones that are almost impossible to find.

The Golden Girls set got 10k supporters in a day while the one that has been up forever is only at 6375. Something odd is going on.

a lot of the old Cuusoo sets sitting above 5000 supporters have been getting pushes as time runs out on them. Once all those projects are wiped, the pace of sets hitting 10k should slow.

won't happen. Best you can hope for is that they release a similar size update sometime in the future. They did it with the Sandcrawler, so it's theoretically possible, but don't get your hopes up too high.

I tried to price match Benny's Spaceship tonight at Lougheed Mall and they wouldn't do it. :( They just said their policy isn't too match their website.

hopefully some people can find some good deals but my experience with Target nearby is that the shelves are almost bare at the best of time. I don't foresee even trying to find any deals.

I just checked Willingdon Costco in Burnaby and they had no Lego left. When they had the Grand Prix Racer at $100 it flew off the shelf.

it always takes a bit of time to show up in order status. Seem to recall my last order not showing up until the next day.

I'd buy this for sure, but with Lego's own Jurassic World sets coming down the pipe, I can't see them producing this. Wouldn't be surprised if they have their own Jurassic Park gate set in the works. But I hope I'm wrong!
