Re: oddity on order from S@H

No I have made several PAB orders online and that's where they all come from. It takes me about a solid week to get them once they are marked as shipped. They come into the US through New York so if you are on the east coast it may not take as long.

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

Last night there were 2 Slave 1' s at the store on Truxel in Natomas for $39.90. I did not get them because I got two right after christmas. I checked one box it was a little rough but not too bad and it was sealed. Not sure about the other. There was also an open Grevious' ship missing bag 1. Good ...

Re: VIP Exclusive Minifigure Set Revealed

Not all VIP members could vote. When I heard of the voting I checked my account and Emails and had nothing so I called customer service and was told not all members were asked to vote, that it was done at random and if you didn't get the invite there was nothing they could do. Really? That's very o...

I agree the wings piece is great. It is one solid piece, similar to the flying mummy wings, I thought it was going to use two of those old, individual bat wings. I think this is better.

Re: [US/CA] LEGOShop Boxing Day 2011 LEGO Deals

The sale is still on - they must leave it as is now given that the discounted items are all EOL... Does anyone know if they will be offering free shipping anytime in the close future? That's what I'm waiting for. I have filled a cart a couple times now but i go to check out an see that extra. $9 in...

Re: VIP Exclusive Minifigure Set Revealed

Also, it's B.S. I wasn't asked to vote. I guess purchasing over $10k from them wasn't enough to qualify. The only thing you needed to qualify was a LEGO VIP card/account - all VIP members were emailed in July to partake in the survey. Money had nothing to do with it. Not all VIP members could vote....

Re: Any other 2012 sets in Target yet?

I saw 2012 Friends, dino, ninjago and super heros, including the batcave, tonight at my local target.

Some super hero sets were marked less than on S@H. The batwing set was $29.99 as opposed to $34.99 and catwoman was $11.99 not $12.99.

Re: TRU "10% Back" rewards are ready to be used

TRU "10% Back" rewards are ready to be used. As expected they split the rewards into 10 $5 rewards. 5 can be used now thru 1/13/12 and the other 5 can be used 1/14/12 - 1/28/12. Also remember to use your Lego Dollars, which can only be used between 1/1/12 - 1/28/12 and if you have ordered...

Maybe tomorrow Target will have another price drop on clearance stuff... Would like to try and get a Star Wars Advent Calendar and possible a couple of other sets and polybags, at least the Republic Cruiser anyway... I got a couple slave 1 sets, one for me and one for my son, and a Mace Windu in Natomas,CA. No luck on the SW advent calendar though. It sounds pretty hit or miss based on the posts. If any one in the Sacramento area knows of a store that has the advent calendar, please let me know, I'd appreciate it.

Re: Will TRU go back to MSRP after Christmas?

Some will go to MSRP, others are marked up year round. Some markups are store specific. Most stores have battle packs marked up to $15 year round but I have foind some stores have them for $12-$13. Its the new and the popular sets that tend to keep the mark ups. In general, I think if TRU can get it...

Now even the sets that were originally not glued (the ones with Boba Fett, Darth Vader, Yoda, etc) are now glued. You may be able to find some of the unglued versions at a Lego Store but I ordered several sets from S&H thinking they were unglued and was very disappointed to see on the back of th...
