Re: 2010 Summer LEGO Toy Story 30070 30071 7596 7597 7598 75

Why can't they make a cheap army builder set of the aliens. Alien Battle pack!!! Because if they did that then there would be literally almost no incentive to spend $25 on those monstrosities they call sets of Build A Buzz and Build A Zurg. The only reason I would ever invest in those two sets woul...

That board game will probably fall under the $30 price since it comes with a baseplate (or so I am assuming at that size). It looks to have a good variety of pieces that would complement any other Harry Potter set. The microfigures are good but a few Minifigures thrown in could never hurt :)

Re: Review- 7789 Lotso's Dump Truck

Glad I was able to pick up when I did. I am keeping a few for when birthdays come up. Maybe in Xmas time these will go back down to 15$ Yeah, I'm kicking myself for not buying it when I saw it at Walmart for that price. For $15 dollars it is totally worth it but at $20 I'm skeptical. I would have j...

Re: Collectable minifigures slowly coming to USA

You lucky dog. I've been hitting up the Toys R Us and every other shop that might conceivably have them and I've yet to find them. Sure LEGO has put them up on their site but limit of 5 and for all I know I could get 5 of the same minifigure. Really if they're going to do this online they should at ...

Re: Will there be more prince of persia sets coming?

What are your thoughts on the after market of these sets after they are discontinued? The aftermarket competition will most likely be intense, but I doubt that its because of the actual sets themselves. Rather it will be for the pieces that are most unique to the sets. Those pieces that come to min...

Re: Win a FREE LEGO Ninja Collectable Minifigure!

Ahh good way to get the forum active. Love to see this one grow. ... but it can lead to post-padding... :? How do you quantify 'quality' posts? Is there a word-length threshold before which your post is not considered? If I am skilled in transmitting my thoughts with brevity, am I not eligible? I t...

Re: [POLL] What do you think of our news coverage?

Out of the three I voted for, I'd have to say sales and deals are the most important to me. Most other LEGO fan sites are focused on MOCs and reviews. Sales and deals usually get pushed back or go unreported so I think that this could be something that Toys N Bricks could really capitalize on this. ...

Re: North America LEGO S@H - Summer 2010 sets added!

Apparently they minifigures are going to be rare in North America which sucks for me...Oh well. I'm sure I can find them online somewhere. Does anyone know if Slave 1 is available from anywhere?

Re: New 2010 Lego Games

My guesses: Orient Bazaar will be some sort of collection game. The rounded flat pieces will work as some sort of currency. You use this currency to purchase those perfume bottles or crystals. You either have to match or collect a certain 3 before everyone else does. The guy in the center probably t...

Re: Whats your favourite space police set?

Lunar Limo. Having been around and actually seen and held the older sets when I was younger I'd have to say that the newer ones are far better, excluding Blacktron 2 from under the umbrella of 'Space Police.' I wasn't too excited by the early releases of SP3. Squidman's Escape and Freezer Ray Frenzy...

Re: New 2010 Lego Games

They always come out in the UK before coming out in N. America. I think we're still waiting on some of the other older games to be released. I'm super excited for the Orient Bazaar and the Hogwart's Challenge. Both have a plethora of good pieces that I'm sure everyone will be dying to get their hand...

A good contest idea. This one will probably boost membership as well as activity. I'm generally active anyways because I'm always looking for more LEGO news so I can plan accordingly for what sets I want to purchase (new sets being released, reviews by different people, etc.)

Re: Review- 7789 Lotso's Dump Truck

I would prefer this a bit cheaper but with all the special molds I can see it. Great figs that I must have. I will prob buy 3 or 4 o them. Some people manage to get this set on clearance under $15 at walmart according to this topic . Its not a clearance. That is the price they are selling it at. Th...

At first I thought it was just the same as the actual set sold by LEGO which confused the heck out of me. I like your modifications. Was the glove box in the original design or did you add that as well?

Introduction

Hello everybody! I've been lurking in the shadows for a while now but I finally decided to join up because it was driving me mad when I wanted to respond to someone but couldn't because I never registered. So here's the run down on myself: I love LEGO (obviously apparent). I run and operate a little...
