Wow, Maersk Train went to 'Sold Out'.

Don't forget about price-matching. I haven't seen a TRU yet that DIDN'T have the pod-racers set in stock, and a lot of Walmarts still have them too.

To be more specific, I guess for the US "Hard To Find" = "Exclusive to LEGO and one other retailer" for mid-line licensed & themed sets; modulars, high-end Creator sets, UCS etc appear to be "exclusive to LEGO for a while, then available elsewhere, but usually only onlin...

Currently 10% rebate from eBates on TRU orders; no telling how long it will last. (You have to be registered there, wait a while and accumulate a certain total to actually get a check, but you do get the money back eventually.)

Highlights would I think be the Ninjago Samurai Mech (should be about 16-17% off MSRP) and the SW 7879 Hoth Echo Base, which has to be near EOL and is MSRP at TRU so you'd get the full 25% off.

I wouldn't count on Pearls languishing on the shelves at $75. Though with the amount of effort necessary to get any BF deal, the savings isn't really worth the trouble / risk of being trampled.

It works with the TIE, yeah. Anything that rings $39.99 or up (excepting the exclusives, which you'll have to fight for).

I got Samurai Mech, Zombies and Orc Forge. The last two didn't ring correctly, so they did a manual adjustment. Assuming it's a systemwide programming error. (Has anyone tried this with Anakin's Jedi Interceptor or City Bank & Money Transfer, also Target exclusives?)

I'd take it back to customer service and ask for an adjustment. The ad says ANY LEGO set $39.99 and up, the only exclusion mentioned is Friends.

Excludes Friends, quantities limited. Not a bad deal for a frequent Target shopper; Star Wars 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor and Monster Fighters 9465 The Zombies are Target exclusives at $39.99 each, so this is effectively 25% off, smidgen more if you have a Target debit or credit card.

And gone again. They still have NRG Zane at MSRP, which is becoming increasingly scarce.

They've also got the LEGO Champion game for $19, which isn't bad for the variety of 2x4 bricks that come with it.

If you wait for a stock update here, the only way you're going to find this in-stock is if you accidentally click through the moment the NEXT round of stock gets released. There is an automated stock tracker/notifier out there, which is how I got one from Amazon.
