Re: [US] April 2012 LEGO Store Calendar Highlights

Thanks for the reply! I also read your response in the "Does PAB stock vary much per store?" thread. This will be my first time visiting the LEGO store during a VIP promotion so I'm not sure how to gauge how many people will be there. I've been there on a Saturday and it was plenty crowde...

Re: [USA] Toys R Us: Save $10 on $50 Purchase 4/8 - 4/14

Went and picked up the order I placed at my local store. No issues at all. Glad I jumped on this when I did. Not surprised it's fixed now.

Re: [US] April 2012 LEGO Store Calendar Highlights

Does anyone know what the system for filling the PaB is? Are the stores told what to put in the PaB? When one container empties, do they refill it with the same element until they run out, or pick whatever they want from the backroom? I want to take advantage of the PaB cup deal Apr 10-11 and was w...

Yes the new week starts on Sunday. The "additional 50% off clearance toys" sale is over.
Thanks for the confirmation!

Re: [USA] Toys R Us: Save $10 on $50 Purchase 4/8 - 4/14

Got to this a bit late so my local store is closed. Have to go to work tomorrow so I won't know until I get home tomorrow evening. I expect that I'll either have a cancellation email or a pick-up your order email. Certainly hope it's the latter.

Thanks so much for letting us know about this error!

Re: Ninjago and short production runs(Theories here)

I think most sets have short runs besides some Star Wars and maybe City sets. The difference is I think LEGO made the 2011 sets for 6-8 weeks in 2010 and 2011, then stopped to make new sets. Ninjago was more popular than they thought it would be so the stock ran out faster than LEGO had planned. Be...

Re: [USA] K-Mart 50% Off Clearance

Anyone know if kmart is open today? Kmart is open today. We just checked the Kmart on Sunrise Blvd and nothing was marked down, but we only scanned PoTC, Harry Potter, Alien Conquest, old Ninjago, and a few old City sets. However, I'm not sure if their new week starts on Sundays. Most stores do, bu...

Re: Medieval Micro City

Very very cool! I really love micro scale now and that's an awesome castle!

I keep missing the deadlines to vote for these things on EB. I have to remember to check those forums more often. I tend to forget because I'm not participating in any of the builds, but I do like to vote when I can.

Re: [US] April 2012 LEGO Store Calendar Highlights

And they wouldn't allow you to fill the rest of the cup with elements from the wall? Hrm... the more I hear about it, it sounds like a great idea poorly executed - from the design of the model to the way they're regulating it. And the one for next month looks just as poorly designed as this bunny. ...

Re: LEGO Duck - April 2012 Mini Model Build

The LEGO website is not very organized. I an never follow the same path twice to something. And two different pages that should be linked the same, never are. It's very very confusing. Anyway, I also got the email with the link so I was able to download. I always forget about this email. I just get ...

Anyone have the link to the instructions? I can never find it on the LEGO site and I know it's only up for a limited time after the build day. I like this duck, it's cute.

Wow! I would buy one of those! It sucks that they do such cool grand store opening give-aways and never have it available for sale. Maybe I'll try to piece it together on my own. The big challenge looks to be the logo sticker.

Re: [USA] K-Mart 50% Off Clearance

So I went back to the two KMarts near me and went through and scanned sets. At one, I found 3 Alien Motherships for $22.50 and the Tripod for $7.50. They didn't have much stock, but there were themes we didn't try since we weren't interested. Where in CA is this store? It's in Sacramento, on Stockt...

The Winchester made it to 10,000 votes on CUUSOO!

Very excited to share that the Winchester from Shaun of the Dead made it to 10,000 votes on CUUSOO. So now the LEGO team is discussing the "issues" with it. I really hope they get over the whole zombie thing and make it. It's not that controversial. And it's not fair that they'll make zomb...
