Re: Target summer clearance

Well I went and was able to get the joker steam roller and the sort and store head as well as a couple of LEGO movie sets. The joker steam roller had a huge 30% sign and there were tons but they were marked 50% off and I lucked out and the cartwheel app gave me 20% off. I got metal beards duel and t...

Re: 3 Lego Fusion sets 75% off

Ok, my big box with 5 sets weighs only 7 lbs. Not sure why the FedEx info says 16 lbs. Either somebody opened my box and stole 10/15 lego sets after it was shipped, or they somehow submitted what it should have weighed if they had put all the correct stuff in the box. My guess is that they enter th...

Re: 3 Lego Fusion sets 75% off

I got my shipping email a few days ago too stating all 15 sets I ordered were shipped. Big box on my porch today so I figured they were all here. When I opened the box, only the 5 Battle sets were included, the 5 Resort and 5 Town sets were not present. There was even a packing slip in the box that...

Re: What was your first LEGO set?

I looked at the crow bar and you're right, I didn't have anything like that. The closest set I could find to what I had was this http://www.toysperiod.com/lego-set-reference/town/classic-town/construction/lego-6630-bucket-loader/ I don't recall having the bucket loader part, but it had that roll bar...

Re: What was your first LEGO set?

I can't remember exactly what it was so I wasn't able to search out a photo but as a child I only had one tiny set that consisted of one small car, a minifigure and a wrench and maybe a crow bar? I'm guessing he was a fix it kind of guy. I've kept basically every toy I've ever had and for some reas...

Re: Legos and Mold

I'd be a little wary, my condo at one time was right near a bunch of man made ponds, so it was very humid and I had a mold problem in my closet, oddly on some plastic boxes.... They were that soft flexible plastic and the mold could be cleaned off, but what a pain. I ended up running a small dehumid...

Re: Minifigure trading at LEGO Discovery Center(s)

Haven't tried this at a discovery center but am hoping to check it out at Legoland California this summer. I was just there on a shopper's pass but the only person I dealt with had a figure with a missing head. Hopefully we'll have more luck when we visit for the day and I'm not trying to be out in ...

Re: Old Lego pieces hard to play with?

I found some Samsonite bricks in a used lot I purchased and the blocks were a bit warped and don't all sit flush, but they sure are cool, a bunch of gears and wheels. Kind of makes up for the fact that most of the other stuff looks like it was owned by Sid from toy story :) Like seriously, how do yo...

Re: 3 Lego Fusion sets 75% off

I ordered on the 28th, my fingers are crossed that they don't run out before they ship my order. I did once receive an empty box with an invoice and a poster in it as a gift... My sister sent my son a set and apparently it they run out at your order you get an empty box... Good thing she was able to...

Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases

Stopped by Target tonight to see if they had any of the new June sets out yet (they did not) and, in the action figure aisle (weird location!), I noticed two 79103 Turtle Lair Attack sets sitting with the TMNT toys. This is very bizarre because I'm in that Target a lot and have never seen this set ...

Re: Target summer clearance

In San Diego I saw a sort and store head for just over $30 marked down from $43, a really odd sounding price. Anyway I left it behind, hoping it will go lower since we don't really need it, it just sounded like it would be fun to have, but not $30 fun :) I saw a couple of ladies loading up on mega b...

Howdy!

Hi, I just joined from sunny San Diego. My family loves going to Legoland and I've just started building a LEGO collection for my two boys who are really too small for LEGO but love duplo and whatever large elements from LEGO that I allow upstairs :) Right now my stash is in the basement, I've bough...
