Re: [USA/CAN] Legoshop sale

That was a quick turn around. I didn't expect this set to be on the chopping block to begin with. I put in a back order for home one back on Monday thanks for the tip.

Re: How often are there BOGO or B2GO sales at TRU?

I did get a TRU rewards coupon for 15 or 20 percent off once a month and November had 2 events. Bogo-sales appeared monthly but had exclusions and the shelves stock would conveniently change. Ie the twilight that was on clearance was hidden away during the promo discounting clearance sets on top of ...

Re: Kit-bashing a gunship

So I have decided to go with this project though in a slightly different manner. I have found a few nice lego sets on clearance (not SW) and have been culling them for parts to build the Gunship. However I have expanded my parts list to try to finish a Rep Tank, Ashoka's Fighter and perhaps the AT-T...

No minifigures yet tho. Just tons of new Ninjago's. The ones with the cards in the packs are marked to $9.84
So...if I see a Luke watch again should I pick it up?

Re: New Mini Lego Star Wars sets

Interesting using the Episode I colors on the AAT as the current clone wars version is Blue. How does it compare to the mini in the Brickmaster hardcover?

Re: Lego Watches

My Luke is of the same grade of my regular set minis. The watch is of lower grade plastic but good enough for a kid methinks. $7 for the bundle is a good rate.

Lego Watches

I hadn't seen these much until late this season and I didn't give a closer look until the stores stocked more than the occasional stormtrooper. Now I've seen a whole starwars line: Yoda, Vader, Maul, Luke, Trooper, C3PO, Dooku, and Solo. Some Toy Story, City, Bioncle/HF. The bundled minifigure is a ...

Re: 2011 LEGO Star Wars (Summer)

My first reaction when I heard about these sets was MEH. Another Falcon? Another Sith Infiltrator? Pass. But, the pictures do make some of these sets look very promising. However - The Ewok attack needs another mini figure. 2 scout troopers versus 2 ewoks would be better. The Dathomir speeder looks...

Re: Do you save the boxes?

Back when the larger sets had flaps on the front of the box to peek at the pieces I cut off and kept these. Now I just recycle the boxes. If I ever felt like trading or selling a boxed set I'd never open it. Though it is interesting you can purchase boxes from some bricklink sellers independant of a...

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

At two of my local walmarts near portsmouth, NH I found 2 Alliance tanks and 1 echo base at $12 each last ones. There was a large stash of the midi destroyers near the x-mas trees for $16 I may return for one later. I did get the ROTJ Luke watch as he hasn't been in a set since 2007 (except for the ...

I didn't know Lego ever did happy meal toys, but I can see why it hasn't be revisited.
