For the first time ever, my Kmart pulled the TRU-classic "mark above retail before markdown" trick. The "clearance prices" were about 10% above MSRP, so the "extra" 30% off was not even that much off of MSRP! Considering how woeful my Kmart does at selling LEGOs in gene...

For that set, I will buy without blinking at the price. Very rarely do I say that.

They have Master Builder Academy at TRU, and the deal applies! I thought those were only available through LEGO stores, and I've never seen them discounted there before. Other than that, slim pickings, but some Chima new waves scorpion/spider sets are at MSRP and available.

Target in Richmond CA has the LOTR Pirate SHip for $85 (I got a much better deal on it pre-Xmas), and some HF for 30% off. It looks like they might have done 30% off on LR, but all the sets were gone so I couldn't tell for sure. (I wouldn't have bit at 30 off on those anyway).

Walmart in Richmond CA has at least six Mirkwood Spiders @ $11.00. Good parts pack/army builder at that price. There is some other discounted LotR and SW but only 30% off.
