Being relatively new to the concept of Legos being a better investment than gold or stocks, do you guys think themes like PoP go up much in value or desire after being retired?

It's amazing how each store varies. I went to 2 Kmarts and they had much more disappointing choices than most of you (only 2 sets at one store and 1 at another).

Apparently TRU's "email me when available" isn't very reliable as FB & GE were back in stock w/o notice and back to out of stock. :(

Why would you do that? The sale began at midnight est. That's 11pm cst, 10pm mst and 9pm pst. You could have ordered three hours sooner. The sale doesn't stagger at timezones...it'd be impossible to program that, since you don't enter your zipcode until you've actually completed the order (unless y...

I take it other time zones get the deal sooner. I had the Fire Brigade & Grand Emporium in my cart waiting for 12AM (Pacific Standard Time) only to see after a refresh at midnight the Fire Brigade was removed from my cart due to being out of stock and Grand Emporium wasn't in the deal. 0 for 2! ...
