I agree. The price is over the top. They should've made it no more than $225. If they had to, lower the piece count.

Which NJ store did you go to? I've seen both store in Paramus release promotional polybags before their dates.

First, great design. I'm surprised this model was picked as much as I like it. It looks run down. Only set like that was the haunted house. I could be wrong. Depending on the price, I might get it.

Screw those greedy money grubbing LEGO owners. They already overcharge their plastic, which is now made in China anyway. And why not have a company who can put out a $100-200 Mil. Falcon? I'm not paying $5000 for an aftermarket one. Or a $100 Green Grocer. It just goes to show how much LEGO is goug...

If you want to save money, you can buy 10188 on ebay.

For $100 we got Emerald night. A far superior set. Alittle bit disappointed with this set.

I posted some comments on this set when it came out. the CMF statue of liberty was much better than this. I bet TRU will give these aways as a promotion.
