Re: LEGO Contest Discussion Topic
However, I think the point of a minimalist or micro-scale contest is to avoid LDD. It forces builders to use their hands to put pieces together in unorthodox ways or build apart from their general styles. That is where all the NPU comments come from. Personally LDD designs are often large and chunky...

@ funny people
Funny that there was a big hype about Boba Fett and the new head gear. Only to find out of the Mandalorean BP. Imagine it was the same for the Spartan in the Collectable Minifigures and Lego came out with a Greek Theme as a Castle Subset

Re: Collectible Minifigure brainstorming session
I'm going to to be ignorant and not read all the posts prior but Here are my suggestions 1. Baker (with crossiant and bagette) 2. Medieval peasant (with the all mighty pitchfork) 3. Mechanic (with drill and wrench) 4. Jazz musican (with saxophone, trombone or trumpet) 5. Opera Lady (with Viking atti...

Re: LEGO Contest Discussion Topic
micro-scale contest - build something on the microscale
or perhaps
have a competition where you see who can build the best thing out of a particular set (something small-med. which is common among us > ie: Clone Walker BP or something)

Re: Collectable Minifigures Series 1 Trading Thread
Hi, I'm looking for a series 1 caveman. Oddly enough, I was hoping to incorporate it into my history art assignment. I'm willing to trade/purchase.
I live in Vancouver, BC and would like to trade/buy locally.
PM me if you have a caveman to spare

Re: LEGO 8684 Collectable Minifigures - Series 2
I have a general question. How many mini-figs do you buy? I do appreciate the fact that Legoshop.ca has a cap of 5 per purchase. But when you see people pricing them on the gray market at 5x their retail value, do you think that is ethical? At the same time, you see pictures of massive stocks of the...

I like the sound of Mandalorian BP, v-wing (maybe) @ legitmate alex- battle of naboo....rare figures like what? Jar Jar Binks lol...what they should for Battle of Naboo to be jacked up to $50 but include the following (depending whether the set design is battlefield or Theed) 1 STAP 3 Battle Droids ...

the battle packs look rather nice...especially the dragon knights set.
and Yeah I do agree. I think what would be nice is if lego castle incorporated serfs/peasants into their sets. I personally think it would add more playability

Re: Remakes of Starwars sets you would like to see
A newer Mos Eisley would be nice. They can have the scene where Obi-wan chops off that guy's arm but a tan building would need more to get better reception. Maybe incorporate a few swoops (please no more Imp. speeder bikes) and bring back the dewback. Or better, go for a similar build to Jabba's Pal...

surprisingly, the currency rate between the United States and Canada doesn't matter. I was recently told by someone who works for Lego that it is the currency between the Danish Krone and the Canadian dollar that matters as we (Canada) gets their Lego from Denmark, not via the States. In addition, t...
