Re: LEGO 8804 Collectible Minifigures Series 4
And a free small PAB cup for purchases over $75....the minifigures could definitely help achieve that if they don't have quanity limits.

Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
Someone tell me we don't need this set..my 5 year old doesn't even know who Harry Porter is. I'm ashamed to say I haven't read any of the books and only saw the first 2 movies...the buildings look cool and I love the owls, BUT I should not buy this right?

Re: What sets are so good you've paid full price to get?
Back about a year ago (before I knew about the Sales and Deals forum here), I bought a bunch of sets at full price from the Lego store. Most were gifts for my daughter's birthday so I needed them at a specific time so I really didn't shop around. Mostly they were Toy Story sets: Woody's Round Up and...

Re: [USA] K-Mart LEGO Clearance
Kmart is running the extra 20% off clearance this week, had a good find today! Woody's Roundup was marked clearance of $25, bring it down to $20 after the extra discount! Now I only need to find the Western Train for a great price, got Buzz's Spaceship last week for $15 at Target and Trash Compacto...

TRU in Dedham, MA has put the price to $2.99. New shelf tag and I scanned it, reflects the lower price.

What is the most you've paid OVER MSRP for a set?
Along the lines of the thread about full-price, what is the most you've spent over MSRP and which set was it? So far I have not gone the Ebay route and have not spent over MSRP. I only shop at TRU if I can get it for MSRP or less, wait that's a lie. I did get 6-8 S3 CMF at TRU for $3.99. But I haven...

Re: 40018 Easter Bunny - pictures
Looks very creepy to me too. Last year $10 set was a nicer looking, besides the browns not matching. This looks very very odd, and I hate the half eggs. I have the $10 set from last year saved for my daughter's Easter basket...got it when it was $2. And yes the eggs are pretty lame. But t...

Re: [USA] Easter Polybags - 40017 and 40018 at Lego Store
Oh that sounds weird. I wasn't sure if you meant it was three separate pieces or not. I'm going to have to check that out, seems interesting to say the least. English really needs a pronoun that isn't based on a gender. Maybe Se? :) Brickset might have a picture soon. They posted about the basket/b...

40018 Easter Bunny - pictures
I posted that this set was available, I thought I'd post a picture of it built. My 5 year old daughter picked it out. The package says 7+, I'm guessing since a lot of the parts are tiny. She had some trouble getting the head on the body and with the face. I personally think he looks creepy. http://f...

Re: [USA] Easter Polybags - 40017 and 40018 at Lego Store
I didn't explain this item well...sorry I was in a hurry last night. The monster looks like it is submerged in water with a head/neck out of the water, a hump in the middle and the tail out of the water. The three pieces are not attached. I guess you place them on the table to look like part of it i...

Oh thanks for the clarification. I guess I never tried to edit a post here before beyond 10-15 minutes, I just assumed you could go back and edit and didn't notice the button disappered.ncbarrett wrote:I believe you have 30 mins to edit.

Is there a problem with the "edit" post function?
I was trying to edit a previous post vs posting a new reply but there was no edit button, I thought it was to the left of "quote". Has something changed?
I made a new reply today and it seems like I can edit that one but not older ones.
Just curious....and confused ;)

Re: Border's in-store only coupon roundup (33-50% off)
I noticed that my Borders had the full line of Harry Potter Stuff. Hogwarts was like 150(irc) but if you are a 40% off that is 90 dollars which is less than the sale people are talking about at Amazon. Hagrid's Hut was also only marked up to 44.99 so like 27.50. I looked around Borders today and no...

Re: [WORLD] LEGOShop.com Double VIP Points: March 2011
Can anyone provide insight on what happens if you redeem your VIP points and then return the item? Do they get put back in your account or do you forfeit them? I checked the lego website FAQs but they only really address returns in general (I get it that if I return an item, my VIP points balance wo...

Re: New addiction...modular buildings
All the modulars are worth the price that LEGO puts on them. They're probably some of the best sets that LEGO has ever done. I have the Fire Brigade & Green Grocer. The Grocer is great outside the building, but the Brigade has lots of really cool micro-scale things inside the building. Both are...
