Re: 2011 LEGO NinjaGo (Summer)

The temple is very nice, but it's not $120 nice.

I really like the pieces in 2254 Mountain Shrine. I think that's a $20 set and it looks really nice.

Re: New box sizes?

. for an adult or collector... definitely would want the smaller boxes... Lego doesn't care about adults or collectors when it comes to box size. LEGO sales come from a little kid seeing the box and going "Mommie I want this!" and the mom thinking it's a decent deal for a set because of a...

Re: New Lego 3677 Freight Train set

The most interesting thing about the set (If its real) is the tower, that's different. The rest look very minimum, the yellow truck looks like a redo from the train crossing set. All I can think of is that this is a $130 train for people who want a cargo train but that they are always more expensive...

Re: New box sizes?

The extra penny is so people save a cent and buy the cheaper one to get them out of the way. There is a reason for the bigger boxes, more eye space. Sure they take up more shelf space, but it evens out with the people seeing the bigger boxes. I'm amazed by how small the $5 sets are, they are tiny li...

Re: 2011 LEGO Kingdoms

If they could launch the third wave of this series with dragon knight castle, it will save me time and money in putting two 2010 "Prison Tower Rescue" sets together with multiple 2011 "Escape from Dragon's Prison" sets, plus additonal bricklink orders. I think it's likely we wil...

Re: 2011 LEGO Creator (Summer)

You can make a round wall by having a 1x2 then a round 1x1 then a 1x2 than a round 1x1. I was hoping they would do that.

And including a minifigure takes away from the bricks?

Re: 2011 LEGO City (Summer)

I'm always a little disappointed by the boats. I know they actually float but it always feels like to me that you're getting this huge clunky one piece of LEGO that takes up most of the set price instead of usable pieces. They have been making boat hulls for at least 20 years, if they float I'm OK ...

I think LEGO was planning ahead. The first year the royal knights outside the dragon minifigures, so this year they added more dragons to even it out.

Re: 2011 LEGO Creator (Summer)

The lighthouse is really nice, and I like how they added a minifigure, and the fact he is wearing a new coat. The birds are really nicely designed, I just wish the lighthouse itself was more round.

Yeah the forest set is all about the mini figures, even with the tiny piece count, it's passable because of the minifigures.

Re: 2011 LEGO Alien Conquest

I really like the UFO, but I just wish they included a "soldier" with it, so you get a farmer, soldier and alien. Maybe in a second year of AC we can get new farm sets! That would be very nice. :) The box art for this one included a soldier... I wonder if that's being revised. Of course, ...

Re: 2011 Modular building?

I would like to see lego selling additional second floors for the modular sets. So buy the Fire brigade for 150, but additional second floors for like 40$ They wouldn't sell. LEGO stopped making train cars separately because no one was buying the add ons, and I imagine the building sets would sell ...

I find it weird that these weren't shown last week at the Toy Fair.

They looks fine, I'm not buying any of them, $7a car is way too much for me.

The pics from toy fair show august. thought these were coming out in june/july. Aww...I can't wait that long!
