Re: [US] 20% off select themes at Target, Sep 22-28

Urrrrrr, I missed the Goblin king set, too. I have been waiting it on sale for awhile. Sooo.... hard to catch a deal like this. Wasn't it too strange that those were sold out too fast, was it? Would Target keep them for Black Friday? The goblin king was in stock for about 9 hours at that price. It ...

Re: [US] TRU BOGO 50% 9/22-28

I bought last year's Star Wars advent calendars for only 29.99 3 days before the BOGO 50% coupon came out. I can't believe they marked up the price from 29.99 to 49.99. They're still $29.99 at my store. The new one is $49.99. I have tried to make this "sale" work for me and there is just ...

Re: [US] TRU BOGO 50% 9/22-28

The hobbit barrel escape set is only $44.99 in store so after the sale and the gc, it's $33.75+tax for 2 sets with a $10 gc. Not too bad if you use the gc on polybags.

Re: [USA] Target Clearance Finds Summer 2013

Found a 70% off lego architecture empire state building 21002 ($5.98). I wasn't aware that Target B&M even carried that line as none of the other target's in my area have any of that stuff.

Re: How do you know how much you'll pay to ship on Bricklink

Thanks. Do you have any other advice for using Bricklink? Learn to use your Wanted List. This. It's SOOOO handy, to just click, "show items on my wanted list". Creating wanted lists is annoying and time consuming but it pays off as you can easy compare with other sellers. Some have a...

Re: [US/CAN] Free Castle Mini Build on September 12

I have actually never seen my local store ask any of the kids for their age. At the BBQ grill event there were two 16+ kids in line ahead of us and they had no issues getting the grill. I think if you ask for permission to take a 4 year old, you're opening yourself up to being denied. Just go and if...

Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases

There is nothing wrong with hoarding legos in the basement! If I see a set that I don't already own that is at least 50% off, I am buying it and storing it in my basement!

Re: [US/CAN] Free Castle Mini Build on September 12

Just tell them your kid is 6. They have no way to prove it. I've taken my 4 year old to the crab build and the bbq grill build. I might take her to this one tomorrow as I want to buy some stuff.

The free promo won't work with a pm. I tried to pm the tru site a few weeks ago and the register wouldn't give me the free polybag until they canceled the pm.

Oooh, I want those. If you can get the DCPI code. :-D
Series 1 and 2 had the same dpci so that might not help if they continue that trend.

Argh, the mummy set I bought recently doesn't having the glowing mummy. I wasn't even aware the original sets had a glowing mummy. I guess I should be happy it was 50% off.
