Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Kits?

Well, according to a youtuber, what they are doing is making it so you can't fill up a cup with just one kind of part. You will have to pick out the parts for the kit, and then you can fill the cup with what ever you want. Although, he did say that was according to the employees at his Lego store, a...

Re: LEGO Simpsons 71009 Series 2 Minifigures Official Images

I just think that the series isn't adaptive, what kid or person is going to use the heads and hair for anything?? (Admitly the arms are good for something's) It doesn't really belong in the lego "world" in my point of view, it seems like something mega blocks would make, not truly lego. I totally g...

Re: LEGO Simpsons 71009 Series 2 Minifigures Official Images

While I was MEH about the first batch, these have that "I GOTTA HAVE IT" vibe to them. All except Comic Book Guy. To paraphrase "WORST. MINIFIG. EVER!" Just like Chief Wiggum, his head is that of an obese man, yet his body is that of a regular person. Looks ridiculous. I would have preferred Princip...

More of less. You build the figure, take it to the cash, show your coupon, take it home.

No, I haven't done that, but I share you pain. My kids all had sets that they played with and the parts kept falling off. I refuse to glue though. I am not Lord Business after all. :)

Re: Bricklink problems. Advice requested

Weird follow up. Went through paypal and got a refund. And now the order which was supposed to have been shipped in early January but was actually shipped on Feb 2nd has arrived. He clearly lied about sending the replacement order back in January, so I feel like keeping the money (after all the junk...

Re: Target Closing All Stores in Canada

Today is the day. However, expect to be disappointed. The sales are "UP TO 30% off". I was at Target last night (Barrie, On) and all the price scanners had been removed from the walls. (WTH?) And there were like only 5 employees visible in the whole store. They appeared to be figuring out what disco...

Re: Target Closing All Stores in Canada

Article I read recently said that Target Canada will be presenting a liquidation plan to a judge this week, and if approved, they could start liquidating as early as Thursday. However, there are no plans for advertised liquidation sales so it will totally be YMMV. And as we've all been finding, they...

Re: Too Good to be True??

First thoughts are that he put in the wrong price (should be $500 not $50). It probably is a scam. You'll get an empty box or a picture of the Death Star. :) But yeah, very tempting.

Since my kids love it so much, if there are any MegaBloks Skylanders there, some pictures of that would be nice.

Yes, he's in the US, I'm in Canada. No tracking info was given. I have never had anything held up in customs so I suppose that could the case, but it was literally 2 pieces. Grand total of $2.25 plus shipping. I did pay through paypal and my address is correct there so that shouldn't be the issue. I...

Bricklink problems. Advice requested

I've been buying on bricklink for over 6 years now, and never had a problem. Until now. I wanted to know if anyone has had this experience and how it played out. I placed a small order back on November 26th. By the end of December it still hadn't arrived so I contacted the seller. He had no idea wha...

And another beautiful set that I will never own. $400 that hurts. Sigh.
I do like the shield logo they have behind the figures though. Will have to recreate that.

Re: Buying a case of minigs?

I use the "feel and identify" method, but that's mainly because I return the ones I don't want. I've been doing it since series 3, so I've gotten pretty good at it. I really don't know if opening them up affects their resale value or not.
