Re: [CAN] ToysRUs LEGO Bricktober Sale: October 22-28

Update on my above post...called again and got 30% discount with a different rep! Woot! But yeah, enough about last week's sale. This upcoming sale is good for those of you that want to get just one item from the themes listed (particularly Creator, with the modular houses and the winter sets) inst...

Re: [CAN] ToysRUs LEGO Bricktober Sale: October 22-28

Return of the 20% straight off for Lego Creator! Time to get either Grand Emporium or if the TRU website fixes itself and counts Fire Brigade into the sale (listed under City at the moment but last week's screwed up sale, Fire Brigade was still counted as an item that qualified for a sale; presumab...

Wait so which store did you see them at? I'm confused since you said you did not see them at Zellers, Walmart or TRU.

Really good review but $40 is too much for this game. Maybe if there's a sale, I will get it. :)

Re: [CAN] ToysRUs LEGO Bricktober Sale: October 15-21

Just a heads up to everyone. ToysRUs.ca now has LEGO Creator 10211 Grand Emporium instock and markdown to $159.97 (reg.$199.99). LEGO Castle Medieval Market Village has also been markdown to $134.99 (reg.$149.99). If you use the 30% off code (when you buy 4), you can get it Grand Emporium for $111....

Looks like they're not giving out 30% off discounts now. Still good deal for grand emporium I think with 20% off + 25% off. I want to get one at this price but sadly already brought mines a few months ago. :(

Re: [CAN] ToysRUs LEGO Bricktober Sale: October 15-21

I never lucked out on tru sales too but this time I spent the effort in calling them to complain and I also got the 30% off 4 sets, so thanks for the previous post about the 30% code. Not my preference to call because I lost out 2.4% for cashback rewards and they would not give me the code to use o...

Re: Lego Bunny 40005 @ £1

Gee, stlll $7.48 in Canada. I guess this is more payback for the $170 UCS Falcon. ;) I notice the same thing with the other sales items. We either get lesser sales or the reduction is not as big compared to the states. It is a payback I would say for the loss they got from the dropship, falco...

Its not selling well here, at least in Canada. Its been on sale for 2 times within 3 weeks already at Zellers. If I recall correctly, I think another store has a sale on this too.

Re: Star wars set ideas.

I think an ultimate collector's edition of Cloud City to the tune of 5000 pieces or so would be really really nice. It could also come with a T 16 Skyhopper or the Twin Cloud Cars/Sky Pods, whatever their name was. Sounds cool, but I don't feel like paying $700 for a lego set. Maybe a remake of it ...

Re: LEGO 8684 Collectable Minifigures - Series 2

2 in NYC, 1 in NY and 1 in NJ. 1 hour to get to NYC even if it's 20 miles away. Darn traffic. I don't really go to the two in NYC since I can find everything in NY and NJ. Plus the bridge tolls are a ripoff. One more thing, we just don't get crazy deals like the rest of the country either. Lego onl...

BN.com just added new star wars sets

BN.com got 4 new star wars sets (slave I, palpatine's shuttle, plo koon fighter, and wampa cave). Earlier today, they do not have slave I so they are still adding more in. Probably the cheapest way to get them in Canada right now. What sucks now is many coupons (like 30% off any one item) at BN.com ...

Why does Zellers still have no new Lego?

Zellers, the nationwide chain with 276 locations does not have a single new set.(not even the regular themes released a few months ago like Atlantis, City, Kingdoms, etc, etc.) Ask the staff there and they got no clue when they'll be here and what new stuff will be in the next truck shippment.
