I am impatiently waiting for Feb 1 and Bricks and Pieces ordering opens again to check on some new parts.
FYI large orders do come in a box - same type of box as Pick a Brick.

Re: Black Friday Walmart 2015
Wow, that was fun. There were a few women ahead of me waiting for this but once the plastic wrap was cut at 6pm, it was on like Donkey Kong. A whole bunch of kids, dads and moms came bum rushing. It was like the black fridays of old where the pepper spray had to be used. Funny thing was that this w...

Re: Pick a Brick wall changes? Kits?
I too remember the pre filled cups a few years ago. I think one was an Easter bunny. When they went away I figured it was an idea that hadn't worked out. I would rather see a better selection than any pre-filled cups. A couple suggestions that should get a lot of people to visit the stores: 1. A fea...

Eugene OR store seems to have not got any. At least the employees didn't know anything about them.

Re: Lego (Pick-A-Brick) Shortage
A month and a half ago I went to my 'local' (Tigard OR) Lego store and found about eight empty bins. When I asked an employee he said they have been having a shortage of parts especially 2X4 bricks. My last visit Oct 3 there weren't any empty slots; so maybe it's getting better.

I was quite impressed with R2-D2 and the black power droid wandering around the floor.

Cute bunny family.
Otherwise not much of interest to me.

Re: Brickcon 2014 Seattle, WA
I went Saturday. I particularly liked the Laketown display and a couple of the pirate island scenes.
On the other hand a couple of the displays seemed rather sloppily assembled - Sparta and the big monastery both had gaping cracks showing between sections of rockwork

Re: LEGO September 2014 Sales & Promotions
I've only ordered one item on a 'wait list' - that being the Maersk triple E. (Also ordered pick a brick in the same order.) Promotional items showed up first in a package by themselves, then the pick a brick, and the ship by itself a few days before the 'expected ship date.'

Re: Vynsane's Travelogue: Pacific Northwest Edition
I've been watching your trip report with interest. I live in Springfield OR and have spent a lot of time on the Oregon coast. I was particularly glad to see the pics of live sea stars - this spring the news was full of how most of them were dying of some disease. [quote="vynsane"] I was in...

Has anyone else noticed a bin of mixed miscellaneous parts on a pick a brick wall? The Tigard OR store has had one the last two times I've been up there.
