Re: LEGO Easter 2013 Polybag Sets (40052 40053)

I've been on Lego Hiatus while my bricks are in storage as my family looks for a new house, but my mom got these for me for Easter. I'm disappointed no one has made the connection that the picnic comes with such a lovely bidet. Those picnicers will have the cleanest bottoms in the meadow! (Related: ...

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

School supply shopping by the wife led to me scoring a Genosoian Starfighter for $17 yesterday. There were about 3 pod racers for $50, several Alien Conquest copters for $20 (got mine last week at $25), 2 $40 fire stations, and a $40 space center. I went to scan a Falcon & there was a Frigate be...

Re: Finding the Miniseries 6 Roman Soldier

I went into a TRU over the weekend and a sign above their box of Series 7 CMF translated to "No opening the packages. No feeling the packages. No using other devices." Are people weighing them now? X-raying? I stood at my TRU a couple weeks ago for 45 minutes feeling bags. The manager cam...

Exactly, beats the pants of LOTR. The more vampires the merrier, and the Creature is freaking sweet.

Looks like the 2 packs are at $150 (with 6 days left) on eBay, and the only Maul listed is BIN $200. Yikes.

NinjaGo Fire Temple & Lightning Dragon....OOP?

I thought I'd read somewhere that someone had found a Fire Temple at clearance, but the one I saw today at TRU was full price. I haven't seen the Lightning Dragon Battle or Garmadon's Fortress recently. Anybody know if these are already retired? I suppose all the red box NinjaGos will be gone soon?

Re: Entire Kingdoms line discontinued?

Swung by a TRU today & found 1 King's Carriage and 3 MVRs. MVR was RRP...not too bummed cause I scored one for 50% off at WM recently. I too will miss Kingdoms, LOTR sucks.

You know when you search Lego on that site, it returns all the sets as "No assembly required."

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

Concord Mills NC Walmart was in storewide disarray today. Outdoor Lawn & Garden had been converted into toy and Christmas clearance. I didn't scour every item but I didn't see any Lego there. The regular Lego aisle had been greatly shortened to include what looked like more clearance miscellany....

Re: [USA] Wal-Mart Clearance

Went looking for a Palpatine's Shuttle & Windu's ship and didn't find either. I did, however, find the last Mill Village Raid for $34.90 and Ninjago spinners for $3.something. Not bad for a last minute lunch outing. So amped for the MVR, $35 is an awesome deal!

He has a Wonder Woman minifig up too. Anything from Mexico these days seems sketchy to me. We'll probably read about these figures hanging from a bridge somewhere.

I've got a handful of Cruisers for trade, but am not 100% sold on 10 more Ninja Gliders. Anything else on your "haves" list? Small sets, CMFs, other polys, NinjaGo spinners? I'll go look at my Ninja Glider when I get home & see if he wants some pals in case that's all you're offering n...

Re: Steal of a Deal / Recent LEGO Purchases

Finally made it to TRU yesterday for Bricktober week 1. Grabbed Battle for Geonosis at the 25% off price, plus got my free Ninjago shrine and princess magnet. The wife gave birth on Thursday, I was starting to think I'd miss the first week. Cashier said I was lucky that they'd gotten more princesses...

My memory's not as sharp as a seven year old's any more either, but my English skills are. I'm chalking this up to "English speakers say it how they're comfortable so as not to sound like a 1950s Asian stereotype." The way the young folks are saying it sounds silly. It's funny, I really lo...

NinjaGo pronunciation

What is the proper pronunciation of "NinjaGo?" Is it:

1. Ninja. Go.
or
2. Nin-jago

I've people at the Lego store and my sister-in-law say #2, but my brain can't not just say the two words like they're separate. Which is it?
